Love Island Australia 2018‘s Amelia Marni has soft-launched a new boyfriend, and fans think a recent Instagram Story shows it’s a fellow villa alum!
In May, Amelia and her OG Love Island bae Josh Moss called time on their four-year relationship, and following an envy-inducing European romp, it seems the 26-year-old is ready for love again!
As reported in episode 211 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one listener slid into the DMs, wondering if Amelia was dating 2021 Love Island winner Mitch Hibberd.
“Umm tell me Amelia is not dating Mitch ‘f*ck boy’ Hibberd?” they questioned. “The soft launches today in her Stories were pretty telling.
“The gold watch matches his, as do the muscles.” So it seems we have our own Inspector Gadget on the case!
ICYMI: Amelia recently posted a question box on her Instagram Story, with one fan asking her, “how’s life been?”.
“So good,” Amelia replied before sharing a mirror selfie that showed a tall man with a muscly watch-clad arm snaking around her waist.
She later added in a subsequent post that she “had the intention of being alone for a while” after her split from Josh.
However, she “also think[s] if something special comes around not to let it go”, alongside the side-eye emoji.

While she didn’t say who the man was, Amelia did confirm that the limb was not attached to Mitch. Thank Christ!
“That is hilarious, no way,” she expressed.
Adding that the “skin tone is completely different”, Amelia said that she wouldn’t date the former footy player as she owes “girl code” to Mitch’s Love Island ex, Tina Provis. We love to hear it!
It comes after Amelia hinted that she was dating again in an Instagram Story posted on August 31.
“Are you dating[?]” one follower questioned during a Q&A, to which she responded cryptically: “he he he…………”
