Australian soap actor Shannon Adams is fronting up for the cameras once again as he embarks on his Married at First Sight Australia 2023 journey.
The 30-year-old is just one in a string of MAFS 2023 participants to be unveiled as filming for the tenth season gets underway.
No stranger to the small screen, the actor-turned-personal trainer’s TV career kicked off when he was just eight years old.
He has since appeared on household hits such as Neighbours, Blue Heelers and Rush.
Acting aside, Shannon also models and was up against Love Island Australia‘s Maurice Salib for 2019’s Manhunt Australian Male Model of the Year title.
“I don’t want to be someone who’s just a model,” he said during the competition. “I want to be a role model to people and to eventually be the number one fitness role model in the country.”
Married at First Sight won’t be his first reality affiliation with Channel Nine, either.
The handsome fella once appeared in a promo for Love Island alongside Sophie Monk, too.
Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Shannon Adams Has a Role Far Greater Than Those On TV
Shannon’s main role (and we’re sure his favourite to date) is playing “dad” to his daughter, Milli.
According to a source close to the incoming TV groom, Shannon is a “humble” and proud father.
“He’s a really great guy who loves his fitness and his little girl Milli’,” the insider told the Daily Mail.
Shannon isn’t the only MAFS 2023 groom to have media experience.
Sigh… What happened to casting good ol’ regular Aussie battlers, huh?
