Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Bronte Schofield has responded to the leaked voice memos that prove she knew about TV husband Harrison Boon‘s secret girlfriend before the show.
The Perth-based bride was told, seemingly for the first time, by wedding guest Jessica Tomlinson that Harrison was set to appear on MAFS and was also dating Abby Miller.
However, in Instagram voice memos obtained by So Dramatic!, Bronte can be heard plotting against Harrison ahead of filming MAFS after being “actually triggered” by the potential scandal.
“Oh my God… Like, what am I supposed to do? Like, if one of the other girls gets him, oh my God, I’m dead. Well, you know what? If he is my match, I’m going to f*cking play that to my advantage. Like, holy sh*t. Oh my God.”
Speaking to The Kyle & Jackie O Show on February 7, Bronte confirmed it was her voice in the recordings but claimed she had no idea that Harrison would be her TV groom.
“I never actually got told Harrison’s name before the wedding. I heard that a guy of his nature was going in it,” Bronte said.
“So when I was getting all of these messages from so-called ‘friends’, I was like, ‘Oh my god, if I get this guy, at least I’ll have the upper hand and I’ll be able to know what kind of a guy he’s like’.”
Bronte claimed he was too freaked out by the idea of “marrying a freaking stranger” to recall tea that she’d been told several months ago.
“I’m definitely not an actor,” Bronte said, adding her (kinda iconic) OTT reaction was “so legit”.

Bronte confirmed to the radio hosts that she knew “exactly who leaked it” and yeah babes, you don’t need to be one of our super sleuths to figure that one out!
“I tried to call [Jessica] and she didn’t answer, so I left her a message basically just saying leave me alone and let’s just move on. It’s been however many months now, keep my name out of your mouth,” Bronte said.
Then, in a screenshot of a text copped by So Dramatic!, Bronte dubbed the conversation leak “so pathetic and absolutely disgusting”.
“I’d appreciate you to call me back,” she told Jessica. “Sending in voice notes… of a conversation, you and I had before I even knew who Harrison was is so pathetic and absolutely disgusting Jess.
“Why are you so obsessed with this, let it go.”
Bronte then said the drama “all happened six months ago” and Jessica “never even told [her] Harrison’s name”. Which is a crock of sh*t, considering the pair also matched on a dating app…
So, the gaslighter paired with another gaslighter! Maybe the experts do know what they’re doing…
