Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Harrison Boon has responded to the leaked voice memos that proved Bronte Schofield knew about his secret girlfriend before the show.
The 32-year-old construction worker copped major on- and off-screen flack for dating Bachie alum Abby Miller until the day before he was meant to appear on MAFS.
However, in Instagram voice memos obtained by So Dramatic!, Bronte can be heard plotting against Harrison after she found out he was dating other women ahead of their wedding.
“Oh my God… Like, what am I supposed to do? Like, if one of the other girls gets him, oh my God, I’m dead. Well, you know what? If he is my match, I’m going to f*cking play that to my advantage. Like, holy sh*t. Oh my God.”
Speaking to Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa on February 7, Harrison laid it on thick about how “disappointed” he felt after hearing Bronte’s voice chat messages.
“That is massive,” Harrison told the radio hosts after they played him the audio (as though he hadn’t already listened to it multiple times).
He continued: “It was really difficult to hear that, like I’m really disappointed about that.
“That means that everything we saw at the wedding and [the Dinner Party] was essentially fake, it was acting.”

It comes after Bronte appeared The Kyle & Jackie O Show on the same day, confirming it was her voice in the recordings.
“I never actually got told Harrison’s name before the wedding. I heard that a guy of his nature was going in it,” Bronte said.
“So when I was getting all of these messages from so-called ‘friends’, I was like, ‘Oh my god, if I get this guy, at least I’ll have the upper hand and I’ll be able to know what kind of a guy he’s like’.”
Bronte claimed she was too freaked out by the idea of “marrying a freaking stranger” to recall tea that she’d been told several months ago.
“I’m definitely not an actor,” Bronte said, adding her (kinda iconic) OTT reaction was “so legit”.
