Beck Zemek was the first contestant fired on Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2022, however, she is sent to make a return to the show.
As reported in episode 186 of the So Dramatic! podcast, a shock twist will see the former Married at First Sight Australia bride make a spectacular comeback into the boardroom.
“There is a new twist this season,” an on-set source explained to So Dramatic!. “They have a redemption round where they let evicted contestants return to the show for a second chance at rejoining the cast.”
According to the So Dramatic! spy, once evicted, the celebrities had to stay in Sydney in anticipation of the redemption round.
The Real Reason Beck Zemek Was Fired First
Not only did our source spill on Beck’s fabulous return, but they also revealed why she was fired in the first place!
As we all know, the reality star is expecting her first child (any day now) and due to extreme morning sickness, she was unable to continue on with the show.
“When Beck arrived in Sydney, she had Hyperemesis Gravidarum,” the source said.
The 28-year-old was suffering from the rare disorder, characterised by severe and persistent nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
“Her pregnancy was a secret to everyone in the cast, so Beck struggled badly during the first challenge due to the sickness, but no one else knew why she was unable to do her best,” our spy said.
“She was so sick producers were considering sending her to hospital.”
How Did the Rest of Her Team Feel?
Reportedly, Turia Pitt was suspicious of Beck and thought she was working with producers to sabotage the group’s efforts because she was always running off the set to the production areas.
“But she was walking off to throw up because she was so sick and nauseous,” they dished.
“By the time the redemption round was happening, Beck was past the 12-week mark of her pregnancy and feeling heaps better. She comes back with a vengeance.”
