Shock horror: Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Bronte Schofield was genuinely keen on making her relationship with Harrison Boon work.
Say what you want about Bronte and her “pact” with Claire Nomarhas, alleged AirBnB apartment and absolute QUEEN of a sister, Kirra, because we’ve got proof that she was all in when it comes to her TV marriage.
As reported in episode 268 of the So Dramatic! podcast, leaked diary cam footage negates Harrison’s claims that his wife was bullsh*tting when she said she would move to Sydney for him.
Talking to the camera, Bronte said Harrison “acts like he’s so f*cking hard done by” despite living his regular life in his native Sydney when not filming MAFS.
“He gets to go out and do whatever the f*ck he wants… He’s just literally out living his best life,” the Perth-based bride claimed. “I’m on the other side of the country, and he’s questioning whether it would work if I moved.
“We’ve been back and forward in this constant battle for the last few days about the fact that he doesn’t believe that I’m willing to give up everything to move to Sydney.
“I gave up my whole life to marry a stranger. Yet, the man thinks that I don’t have any need to leave my family to be with the love of my life, if that’s what Harrison and I end up being.”

Bronte went on to say that she has been saying “forever” that she “would move for love”.
“It’s one of the main reasons why I decided to do this [MAFS].”
Sources close to Bronte backed this up.
“He was f*cking her around, she wanted to commit,” they said. “[She is] moving to Sydney in the next few weeks, so Harrison was full of sh*t saying she wasn’t going to move for him.
“She told him she was moving regardless, with or without him.”

Further disputing claims that Bronte was on the show to grow her profile, sources said the couple “did have something real” on her “end”.
“The messages between them during filming prove this,” one insider said. “They had good banter, they would joke around [and] he told her he had real feelings for her and could see a future with her and that he wants to look after her.
“He told her he wanted to meet his son and said how much it meant to him to introduce a woman to his son.”
We mean, that’s not really that big a declaration considering a number of women reported they’d met the TV groom’s son…
Noting that “Bronte really liked” Harrison, sources said the show made out that she was a fool for staying with him.
“There were good parts of their relationship which is what Bronte was hanging onto,” a source confirmed.

Further backing these claims, So Dramatic! obtained a screenshot of messages between Bronte and Harrison indicating the relationship was genuine.
After the TV bride met Harrison’s son, August, Harrison thanked his wife for “being so cute” even though she was unwell.
“I don’t introduce him to anyone so I was a bit nervous but you were great and I just wanted to say how thankful I am,” he penned.
Expressing that he did not need to be nervous, Bronte said it was “lucky” that she “love[s] kids”.
“That means a lot to me, so happy you got to see your parents too,” she added alongside a kiss-face emoji.
The drama surrounding the legitimacy of Bronte’s feelings for Harrison emerged at the same time it was exposed the couple “only lived in the same apartment for a few weeks” during filming.
