Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Harrison Boon has revealed that his fellow grooms have been roasting Dan Hunjas in their WhatsApp group for his weird AF obsession with the ocean.

During the March 5 Commitement Ceremony, the 42-year-old businessman pretty much said he was leaving the experiment because his wife Sandy Jawanda didn’t like the beach as much as he did.

He claimed that the ocean was his “home”, and made strange comments about relating to the beach on a spiritual level.

During his appearance on Today Extra, Harrison revealed that the grooms “have not let Dan off lightly” for these bizarre comments.

“The group chat was lit with memes about him returning to the ocean. Dan’s head on a dolphin… very funny,” the father-of-one spilled.

He also said that he “really felt” for Sandy when Dan admitted he didn’t have feelings for her.

However, in true bro style, the 32-year-old labourer jumped to Dan’s defence, revealing he had tried “a hundred different ways” to communicate his feelings to Sandy, but she never quite understood him.

Come on, Harrison, even the viewers were confused about his feelings!

Harrison Boon denies claims that Dan Hunjas and Samantha Symes were dating during filming

During the interview, Harrison also spoke about Dan’s new (fake) girlfriend Samantha Symes, who was also a guest at his wedding.

Harrison said the pair became romantically involved after Dan and Sandy ended their relationship in September.

“If you look at Dan’s private life now, he has moved on,” he said, before stating that his co-star has “found someone that is more compatible with him.”

The Today Extra hosts then asked if there was any “crossover” between Dan’s relationship with Sandy and his new romance with Samantha.

Harrison pulled a face, then said: “No, no, not during the experiment… I think [Dan and Samantha] were friends and then something happened.”

“I’d give [the scoop] to you if I had it,” he admitted.

“Honestly, from what I heard from Dan, they were friends for a long time and they never really explored anything until he got out of the experiment.”

So Dramatic! has previously revealed that Sandy and Dan were in a fake relationship for the last two weeks of MAFS. So who knows? Maybe the pair have been dating longer than we think.

We just hope Samantha loves the sea as much as her beau does!
