With The Bachelor Australia 2022 starting soon, we couldn’t help but reminisce about the most memorable Bachelor villains of all time and wonder, where are they now?

From dirty street pies to dramatic exits, we’re taking a little trip down memory lane to look back on the eight most memorable villains of The Bachelor and find out what they’re up to since first gracing our screens.

Laurina Fleure, Season two. Best known for: “Dirty street pie”

OG villain Laurina walked so every other Bachelor villain could run, TBH.

The high-maintenance babe shot to fame in 2014 after being (hilariously) salty when Blake Garvey took her on a date at Harry’s Cafe de Wheels, famously dubbing the meal a “dirty street pie”.

Laurina’s now moved on from the reality dating series and is now a mum-of-one with partner James Black,

Despite this, it seems she still can’t escape the iconic line that made her famous.

“Three years ago now I was in Croatia and someone screamed out ‘dirty street pie’ in the middle of a remote island,’’ she told news.com.au in 2020.

“I couldn’t believe it.”

Keira Maguire, Season four. Best known for: “Game on, moll”

Who could forget the sassy villain that was Keira on Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor Australia?

Her antics included calling Kiki Morris a “peasant” and bullying Alisha Aitken-Radburn at the Bula Banquet during Bachelor in Paradise in 2022.

Oh, she also once described herself to TheNewDaily as “a producer’s wet dream.”

After starring in BIP, Keira dated co-star Jarrod Woodgate in late 2017 before the pair dramatically split in August 2018.

These days, the blunt blonde is busy being an influencer and running her skincare business, Skyn Collective.

Cat Henesy-Smith, Season six. Best known for: Being from Bali

Cat was one-third of the infamous “mean girl;” trio that was her, Romy Poulter and Alisha in 2018.

After she was infamously kicked out by Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins for “bullying”, Cat from Bali’s bad-girl rep continued when she was accused of trashing her rented villa in – you guessed it – Bali.

Now, Cat seems to have finally found love with producer Matt Bartlem and runs her own podcast, Cat’s Out of the Bag.

Rachael Arahill, Season seven. Best known for: Her ‘Plan B’

Rachael had us hooked from the moment she waltzed into the mansion wearing a wedding dress – much to the terror shock of Matt Agnew.

The fun didn’t stop there, with the 26-year-old later being sprung giving her number to a male producer as her “Plan B”.

She then embroiled herself in more drama after contestant Monique Morely allegedly called Matt a “dog c**t”.

The shenanigans continued Post-Bachelor, with the reality star going on to date ex-contestant Vakoo Kauapirura and going absolutely rogue on Instagram Live.

She also did an iconic three-part interview with the So Dramatic! podcast following her time on the show and honestly, no one was safe.

These days, she’s still in touch with her co-stars and recently shared a snap of herself and “BFF” Chelsie McLeod in Sydney.

Abbie Chatfield, Season seven. Best known for: Being a Gemini

When the Bachelor aired a sneak peek featuring Abbie’s famous “I’m a Gemini” line prior to the show, no one could predict the impact the astrological-loving babe would have on the show’s seventh season and pop culture in general.

But in perhaps one of the most dramatic 180s we’ve seen post-Bachelor, Abbie went from being slut-shamed and pegged as the “villain” to reality TV hosting gigs, a podcast and a radio show.

In fact, she’s the biggest name to ever come out of The Bachelor franchise and is currently one of Australia’s most prominent and profitable celebrities.

As well as this – despite coming second to winner Chelsie – the reality star-turned-media powerhouse seems to have remained on good terms with Matt.

Bella Varelis, Season eight. Best known for: Turning on her best friend

Bella was branded a villain in 2020 after she famously turned on her best friend in the mansion, Irena Srbinovksa.

Amid the backlash she received, Bella insisted she received a “bad edit”.

“They’re not going to make the person he ended up with look bad. I guess I had to cop the brunt of that,” she told Shameless podcast.

It seems that Bella is still running in the Bachelor circles, after she was spotted flirting with new leads Jed McIntosh, Felix Von Hofe and Thomas Malucelli at TikTok’s For You Fest on December 19.

She previously dated photographer Will Stokoe for two years, though the pair called it quits in September 2022.

Steph Lynch, Season nine. Best known for: Calling Holly Kingston a “c*nt”

The second she stepped into the mansion, it was clear that Steph Lynch would be 2021’s resident villain.

After Jimmy Nicholson confronted her about still having feelings for her pilot ex during the cocktail party, Steph gave us one of the show’s most iconic exits.

“I’m very happy to leave,” she before swiftly jumping into a limo and driving off into the night.

When asked by producers if she was okay, Steph responded: “Am I okay? Yeah, dude. I’m f****** ecstatic. I would marry my ex a thousand times before I would get with Jimmy.” Ouch!

Her villain status was further cemented after every second word she said was a C-bomb, even bluntly calling eventual winner Holly Kingston a “c*nt” in the biggest scandal of the season.

Since her time on the show Steph has continued to stir the pot; most notably, with Holly and Jimmy.

After Holly called out the reality TV villain during an Instagram Q&A in December 2021 for being a “bully,” Steph couldn’t help but reignite their feud.

“So exhausted from all the bullying I did in the mansion,” she sarcastically captioned a post to Instagram. “Just ask my 20 friends xx.”

“Well shit, it’s gonna be awkward when the So Dramatic! pod drops lmao,” she added (and spill the tea she did!).

Holly Kingston, Season nine. Best known for: Being a ‘mean girl’ in the mansion

Despite winning Jimmy’s heart, according to other contestants, Holly was known as the “mean girl of the mansion.

“Holly is a horrible person,” one insider dished in episode 91 of the So Dramatic! podcast at the time.

“She bullied everyone in the mansion and was super cruel. Holly hurt a lot of people… She mocked people and made them feel super lonely.”

The source added that Holly would “single people out” and make them feel like “pieces of sh*t.”

“Adding “All the girls are going to have a lot to say about Holly when the show ends,” they said. And boy, did they ever!

In a chat with fellow contestant Steph on episode 141 of the So Dramatic! podcast, she also spilled the tea on instances where Holly mistreated other contestants.

She recalled seeing Holly “bully” co-star Stevie Grey by ignoring her completely, though she noted there were “other pointed behaviours” towards some of the other contestants, including “comments about appearances”.

After three weeks, production had heard enough complaints about Holly’s actions that they instigated a chat about “bullying”.

“We all just kind of sat there exchanging awkward eye glances because we all knew that it was about Holly,” Steph explained.

Then in June 2022, Holly and Bachelor bae Jimmy received death threats for sharing their controversial opinion on OnlyFans on Instagram, before doubling down and receiving more backlash.

As for where the couple are at now, on August 28, the pair are now preparing to wed after Jimmy popped the question to Holly during a trip to Italy.
