The Bachelors Australia‘s Thomas Malucelli has suffered multiple injuries following a motorcycle accident on October 2.

Thomas, who is one of three Bachies looking for love on the indefinitely postponed series, took to Instagram to reveal he’s “grateful to be alive” following the crash.

Sharing a selfie after being rushed to hospital, the 35-year-old said he “hit the ground pretty hard”.

“But I’m so grateful that my body is a miracle!” he admitted. “2nd motorbike accident that I’m involved in that’s not my fault… Gotta really have eyes everywhere.

“Feeling so grateful to be alive right now.”

On October 4, Thomas shared an update on his health alongside a snap of himself smiling, again, from his hospital bed.

“Update: I have a broken collarbone, torn ligament on my thumb,” the transformation coach told fans. “Few scratches and bruises, but I’m okay! Being looked after so well.”

News of Thomas’ incident follows the shock announcement that The Bachelors 2022 has been put on hold until 2023

“Ten have made the call to delay the show until early 2023, so they can focus on promoting The Real Love Boat,” revealed a well-placed source. “I don’t see them airing reality dating shows back-to-back, and there’s only 10 ratings weeks left.

“They would rather hold it and give it the publicity it needs.”
