The Bachelors’ Jed McIntosh is moving to the US to pursue his music career just a week after it was revealed that his season had been delayed until 2023.
The 25-year-old has reportedly secured a deal with international record label ACTS and will move to LA in April.
According to the Herald Sun, the Melburnian is set to launch the label’s new Rock/Alternative division and take on the position of head of global A&R.
“With the rise in music from genres in the punk, punk pop, rock and alt scene, ACTS have focused heavily on uplifting artists that are not typically mainstream,” he told the outlet.
“I am excited to help grow the confidence of up-and-coming artists that don’t fit into the mainstream music scene.”
The Bachelors Is Being Held Until 2023
With Jed moving to LA and Thomas Malucelli already being spotted back on the dating apps, we’re not holding out much hope for romance to blossom in the show’s new season.
“Ten have made the call to delay the show until early 2023, so they can focus on promoting The Real Love Boat,” revealed a well-placed source.
“I don’t see them airing reality dating shows back-to-back, and there are only ten ratings weeks left… They would rather hold it and give it the publicity it needs.”
It seems a little suss that Jed is now moving to the US, Thomas is back on the apps, and Felix von Hofe is MIA… Hmm… we wonder if we will even see the season?!
