The Bachelor Australia‘s Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston have offered up their controversial thoughts on reality stars using OnlyFans and let’s just say, they certainly did not hold back.

Standing in their $1.42 million Sydney apartment, Holly claimed the duo had “no judgement” towards anybody who used the adult app OnlyFans, blissfully unaware of her boyfriend Jimmy sarcastically rolling his eyes behind her.

Spruced to the nines before heading to a premiere for Disney Pixar’s Lightyear on Tuesday night, the glamorous couple said they felt compelled to let fans know they wouldn’t be joining OnlyFans.

“We’re about to run out the door but we get this question a lot and we figured now is a good time to just answer it once and for all,” Holly said on her Instagram Story, sharing a cropped screenshot from a fan’s message.

“No judgement to anyone who does have OnlyFans, but I think there’s been a little bit of a trend in people coming off reality shows and leveraging that degree of fame to then sell nudes online,” she said.

Jimmy Nicholson Says Reality Stars Should Try to Be “Role Models” Rather Than Pursuing Sex Work

Jimmy then went on to offer up his thoughts and feelings about reality stars using OnlyFans, expressing that it rubbed him the wrong way.

“My problem with it is people saying they’re doing it because it’s female empowerment or male empowerment, I think that’s a load of sh*t personally,” Jimmy said.

He explained that people who want to “celebrate male or female empowerment,” should instead be “role models to future generations” because apparently, sex work and being a role model are mutually exclusive. Yikes!

Jimmy then went on to list ways he thought people could throw money at different issues — oh *cough* sorry — how people could be better role models. He suggested starting a charity, donating to breast cancer or prostate cancer awareness. And we must have missed the memo on how charity work pays bills…

So Dramatic! Daily podcast

It’s a pretty rich (pun intended) statement coming from Jimmy (and not just because his family is hella loaded). Four out of the last five Instagram posts on his account have been sponsored ads. So, in Jimmy’s mind, reality stars are allowed to make money from their newfound fame, just not from OnlyFans. Gotcha!

Holly Doubles Down On Her and Jimmy’s OnlyFans View

On June 15, Holly took to her Instagram Story again to clarify — and double down — on the couple’s OnlyFans stance.

Posting a number of screenshots from her followers supporting their views, Holly said “99 per cent” of the messages they have received in response have been “in support” of their take.

“Empowerment comes in all forms, not just doing something you feel pressured to do because reality stars are doing it,” Holly penned. “If you want to get an [OnlyFans account], get an [OnlyFans]. If you don’t, don’t.”

The reality star added that she and Jimmy “have a choice” to speak out against the concept of reality TV fame equalling OnlyFans success.

“Just like one has a choice to be pro this concept, we have a choice to speak about our reasons for it not being on our radar,” Holly wrote. “If we felt pressured to do something against our values, we imagine some young people are feeling that same pressure…”

However, Holly noted that the couple can “appreciate” that some “may not agree with this stance”.

Fellow The Bachelor Alum Abbie Chatfield Slams Holly and Jimmy’s OnlyFans Take

One person who staunchly disagreed with the couple’s tone-deaf take was their fellow Bachie alum, Abbie Chatfield.

Noting that as someone who has “hung out” with the couple previously, Abbie told her followers that she had reached out to Holly privately to “educate” her about why her and Jimmy’s post was “very problematic”.

However, after realising the pair were doubling down on their views, the reality star took to her Instagram Story to dissect the issues within Holly and Jimmy’s stance on OnlyFans creators.

“This kind of felt like a vessel to speak about your dismissal of people who do OnlyFans,” Abbie said of the couple.

She then questioned how reality stars “leveraging” their TV fame to gain sponsorship deals is any different from capitalising via the adult content-sharing platform.

“The implication as well that people are leveraging their newfound fame or notoriety…. to make money… I’m not sure how that’s any different from me or from them or from any other influencers who have started on reality TV… who use that now to earn money on Instagram.

“Sex work is work,” she added.

Abbie also delved into the fact that the couple’s problematic views speak to a litany of other issues, including the stigma around sex work and the industry’s marginalised creators.

Holly’s Bachelor 2021 co-star, Laura O’Loughlin, also voiced her disdain for Holly and Jimmy’s post, calling it “embarrassing”.

Jimmy Has Recently Spruiked Sponsorships Received Off the Back of His Reality TV Fame

The same day Holly defended her and Jimmy’s views, the latter took to his Instagram Story to show off the Fitbit he was gifted, before joking the device’s heart rate tracker would say his stress levels were “through the roof” because of his girlfriend. IDK, maybe he’ll donate the $60 water bottle he was given in the same package to charity?

Earlier in June, Jimmy also showed off his “good role model” credentials by joking that his cryptocurrency fortune will enable him to take yet another holiday in Waikiki, where the local communities have been begging travellers not to visit due to the burden of over-tourism. *Sigh*

It comes after So Dramatic! reported that Jimmy and Holly had been asking for free (yes, FREE!!!) holidays in “exchange for social content” on their platforms, which have amassed a combined following of 187,000 after their stint on The Bachelor. The receipts don’t lie.

At the time of publishing, So Dramatic! was not aware of any of Jimmy and Holly’s luxury holidays or earnings, being used for or donated to any charitable causes.
