Despite appearing on The Bachelor Australia, Bachelor in Paradise, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and The Masked Singer Australia (just to name a few), Abbie Chatfield has claimed she doesn’t “like fame”.

The serial reality star hit back at a satirical “news” website’s fake article, which joked Abbie was “trying to get caught drink driving” after Kate Ritchie‘s recent DUI scandal, which gained media attention.

The parody website Double Bay Today suggested Abbie was “attempting to emulate” her radio alum Kate, who was arrested for “low-range drink driving” in Sydney.

“I can laugh at myself, but I regularly have f*cking breakdowns about the news coverage that I get. I’m not out here, paying paparazzi like most people are, trying to get articles, pitching stories,” Abbie said.
