Jesse Burford has slammed producers for giving him a “false edit” during the Married at First Sight Australia 2023 Reunion episodes.
The marriage celebrant exposed the producer’s sneaky editing tricks for making it look like Claire Nomarhas was travelling to Perth to be with him when this wasn’t the case at all.
On April 4, the 30-year-old took to Facebook to clarify what really went down.
“Only one thing to clarify: The whole ‘she’s coming to Perth’ thing,” he wrote.
“Claire said she’s coming to Perth for the UFC and for Lyndall [Grace]‘s birthday party – not because she wanted to continue romantically exploring with me hahaha.” Ooft.
The groom also dished that the kindergarten assistant didn’t even end up going to Perth after all.
As the old saying goes: Don’t believe what you see on reality TV!
Despite Claire‘s edit, Jesse explained that the Finale episode was actually “pretty accurate”.
“I’m very pleased with the finale, aside from the ‘Perth’ implications – it was pretty accurate,” he shared.
“No idea why they didn’t air Bronte [Schofield] and [Harrison Boon]. You didn’t see Shannon [Adams] and Caitlin [McConville] (which was absolutely brutal) or Josh [White] and [Melissa Sheppard] either.”

Jesse Burford spills the tea about the Reunion Dinner Party
This wasn’t the first time Jesse took a stab at MAFS producers for his portrayal during the Finale episodes.
The groom was also enraged about his edit during the Reunion Dinner Party episode on April 2.
“Almost everything I say about Claire that night has been craftily edited to appear that there’s still a chance for us,” he wrote on Reddit.
Jesse admitted that producers “stitched” his sentences together to make it seem like he wanted to rekindle his romance with Claire.
“Claire and I absolutely DID NOT talk every day,” he said.
“I actually spent the entire drive to the Reunion talking about how I wasn’t too keen on seeing Claire or Adam [Seed] and how I wanted to mostly be by myself that night,” he added.
He also revealed that he only spoke to Claire twice that night and that the pair were just being polite for the cameras.
“At the end of the day, my honesty/integrity isn’t what needs to be questioned – coz I’m always gonna tell you the truth, clarify things and set it straight [sic],” he finished.
Maybe Jesse should produce the next season of MAFS? After all, the show does need a little more honesty and integrity. Just sayin’!
