Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Harrison Boon has clapped back at viewers who think he was fake crying over Bronte Schofield‘s endometriosis battle.

We all know Harrison has a bit of a habit of being a bullsh*t artist, and the February 26 episode shot that reputation to new heights.

Unfortunately, Bronte was unable to attend the Commitment Ceremony due to pain caused by endometriosis.

This meant Harrison was forced to face the experts by himself and he put on one hell of a (unconvincing) show, complete with waterworks, because he can nEvEr ImAgInE wHaT wOmEn Go ThRoUgH eVeRy MoNtH.

Of course, we all saw right through his little act, with fans roasting him on social media about it.

However, Harrison has since taken to a MAFS fan group on Facebook to defend himself, claiming he has “a lot of empathy”. Barf.

“Hello everyone, I just want to address tonight’s [Commitment Ceremony],” he wrote in the Married at First Sight UNCENSORED group.

“Bronte was in a lot of pain and crying and I had to go into a high-pressure environment and deliver a commitment ceremony decision on my own.”

Noting that his emotional display was “very real”, Harrison went on to detail how “soft” a guy he is.

“I have a lot of empathy, and a real soft spot for my son,” he continued. “You’ve seen my softer side in flashes during the experiment where I’ve shown a lot of empathy for Jesse [Burford] and Josh [White].”

Married at First Sight‘s Harrison Boon calls out fans who ‘laughed’ at his ‘vulnerability’

Turning on the women in the Facebook group, Harrison said he didn’t “appreciate” their reaction to him “crying” on the couch.

“I don’t appreciate the women of the group laughing at me showing vulnerability and [them] showing absolutely no care for Bronte’s situation,” the 32-year-old said.

“Nor do I think the music [on the show] is appropriate. What you see tonight it a guy showing nothing but compassion and real genuine care for his wife.”

He went on to say that while he accepts being “this season’s villain”, “that doesn’t mean [he’s] made of stone”.

The father-of-one then signed off with “H-Bomb” and where’s Jesse’s list of icks when you need it?!

The father-of-one’s controversial reaction comes after So Dramatic! exclusively revealed that Harrison accused Bronte of using her battle with endometriosis as an excuse for “being a b*tch”.

So, yeah; “empathic” our arse…
