Married at First Sight Australia 2023 fans have rallied behind Josh White on Twitter after his TV wife Melissa Sheppard tore him to shreds during the latest Commitment Ceremony.
The February 19 episode saw the 40-year-old groom completely dejected following the literal hell that was Intimacy Week (well, for him, anyway!).
ICYMI: Self-proclaimed “freak in the sheets” Melissa “took sex off the table” after Josh expressed it was overrunning their relationship, resulting in neither participants’ emotional or physical needs being met.
As such, the pair was riled up when they hit the couch before the MAFS experts, and it went as well as you’d imagine.
Fans took to Twitter ASAP to share their concern for the father-of-two, who appeared a shell of a human as Melissa explained that their relationship had turned to sh*t.

Melissa then threw Josh to the wolves, revealing that her hubby’s “conservatives” was the reason they couldn’t talk about the no-pants dance during Intimacy Week.
She continued to express that she felt she was the “alpha” in their relo because Josh isn’t the macho man (read also: Thor) she envisaged when signing up for the show.
Josh went TF off, calling out his partner for her need for “control”. He dished that she attempted to limit his TV and phone use, as well as when he could read his book (!?).
“She has used degrading and dehumanising language to me, questioning my manhood,” he added.
“So when we talk about getting to the core of the issue, that is the core of the issue right there.”
It was all kinds of f*cked, and Twitter was in a right rage over it.

Duncan James piped up after Melissa’s cooked views on manhood, defending his buddy Josh because his wife was well out of line.
“One of the most frustrating things is when someone says, ‘You’re not a man,’” he confessed.
“What is a man? A man is someone who can really talk about their emotions and get deep and be vulnerable.
“That’s a man. What a man isn’t is someone who just wants to chop it up and not talk about anything. To me, that’s not a man.”
Naturally, Twitter was drooling over Duncan — A.K.A. the only decent man to prove himself this season.

Making matters impossibly worse, Melissa said that despite the two times she and Josh had been intimate in the last week, it was “just sex” and “just a transaction”. Yikes.
Her co-stars, the experts and all of Australia collectively cringed, and we demand a refund for Josh ASAP.

Josh was understandably upset at Melissa’s comments, and after the past week, it was no surprise he opted to “leave”.
However, throwing a spanner in the works of a relationship she was vocally peeved off with, Melissa’s answer was a ‘lil more complicated.
The horny mum revealed she’d written “leave”, then crossed it out to write “stay” because she can’t let sleeping dogs lie.
Thankfully, expert John Aiken seemed to have had a lobotomy this season and decide to actually do his job, breaking the show’s rules in favour of letting Josh hightail TF outta there with no consequences.
Of course, fans were ECSTATIC and shared their joy that Josh was free from MAFS‘ shackles.
