As reported in episode 256 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the 27-year-old carpenter started acting like a “d*ck” and saying “hurtful” things to his TV wife several weeks into the controversial experiment.

An insider revealed that the rocky couple army-crawled their way to the Final Vows, but weren’t together by the time the MAFS reunion rolled around.

“They are only good for three weeks maximum in the experiment. He’s a d*ck to her,” the source said.

“Lyndall initially felt like she had found ‘the one’ in Cam. When the excitement of the wedding wore off, they really spent time with each other and they got to know each other. They realised they didn’t like each other at all.”

They continued: “He hasn’t ever been in a proper relationship or had many partners that he’s committed to, so it’s all new territory for him. He said some really hurtful things to Lyndall and treated her pretty badly.

Married at First Sight’s Lyndall Grace and Cameron Woods struggled with clashing personalities

The So Dramatic! spy explained their personalities and opinions often “clashed”, which MAFS viewers started to witness in the February 15 episode.

“They easily got p*ssed off at each other… She would get super emotional and he would think that she was overreacting,” the insider said.

They claimed Cameron was a “classic dude who has never dated a woman and he expected her to be OK when he had been rude or inconsiderate“.

Certainly not the worst description of one of the many problematic Married at First Sight 2023 grooms, but that bar is on the ground.

“They come from completely different worlds and had completely different expectations,” they said.

The source explained that “Lyndall had daydreamed about love for a long time”, and Cameron wanted to maintain his “nomadic” lifestyle.

“He couldn’t meet [her] expectations and wouldn’t budge on leaving his nomadic, single lifestyle – he hoped she’d compromise but she wasn’t willing to budge,” they claimed.

One of Married at First Sight participants revealed they were shocked when they discovered Cameron was “so mean to Lyndall”.

“[He was] awful. When we watched their scenes back at the reunion, we were like ‘holy f*cking sh*t’. It was beyond,” they said.

Cameron Woods made “ableist” comments about Lyndall Grace’s chronic illness

It comes after reports that Cameron made several “ableist” statements to Lyndall about her chronic illness Cystic Fibrosis.

As reported in episode 252 of the So Dramatic! podcast, it seems Cameron made offensive comments about the average CF life expectancy, despite her recently starting on the “life-changing” drug Trikafta.

According to one source: “Cam is not the good guy you’ve seen on night one all the way through the experiment”.

Lyndall Grace Cystic Fibrosis
Lyndall has Cystic Fibrosis, a life-shortening chronic illness that primarily impacts the lungs and digestive system.

“He shames [Lyndall] for having Cystic Fibrosis,” they revealed. “On their honeymoon, they were getting along really, really well.

“Then he turns around and goes to her, ‘Oh, well, why would I want to be with somebody who’s just going to kick the dirt soon anyway?’”

They added: “It was heartbreaking for Lyndall.”
