Turns out there’s some merit to claims Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Claire Nomarhas only stayed on the show to redeem her image following her brief cheating scandal.
ICYMI: The early childhood educator was called out for kissing Adam Seed behind husband Jesse Burford‘s back early in the experiment.
However, she fought hard to win Jesse back, only to have Harrison Boon claim Claire confided in Bronte Schofield that it was all a ploy to get her castmates and the public back on her side.
While Claire denied doing such a thing, sources have since confided in So Dramatic! that the mission to redeem the bride’s image was very much in full swing on set.
In fact, sources revealed in episode 270 of the So Dramatic! podcast that Claire AND Bronte made a pact “to stay on the show for exposure”.
“Bronte and Claire went to Manly together as they were both hating their partners,” one explained.
“They came back after making a pact… then instantly both turned it around with their partners the very next day.”
Apparently, this was common knowledge among the cast, with Bronte telling “some of the other brides” about the plan.
“She was very open about it,” an insider confirmed. “Claire also told the other brides a lot of nasty stuff about Jesse but it’s all been cut.
“She’s got a very good edit.”
Why was Claire Nomarhas given such a ‘good edit’ on Married at First Sight Australia 2023?
According to MAFS insiders, the behaviour we see from Claire on screen is extremely watered down compared to what happened IRL.
“The edit Claire got is really soft compared to what it should have been, and what it could have been,” one source explained.
“The experts were all told by producers to go easy on her with their line of questioning.”
They added: “Claire boasted to other contestants about knowing one of the producers. She wasn’t trying to hide it.”
No wonder her role in the cheating scandal was swept under the rug so quickly!
Now, we’re left questioning whether Adam’s tea that Claire repeatedly tried to initiate some spicy rendezvous is actually true…
