Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Adam Seed has claimed Claire Nomarhas “repeatedly” tried to initiate their pub kiss, which has since become a contentious topic on the show.
To quickly recap: Adam and Claire shared a kiss during a night out early in the experiment and continued to deny that anything happened to their partners — Janelle Han and Jesse Burford — when suspicions surfaced.
Claire later blew the lid on the whole affair (pun intended), and has since said the smooch was mutually instigated.
Chatting to The Kyle and Jackie O Show after he was brought to task by the cast during the February 22 episode, Adam attempted to clear his name by throwing Claire under the bus. As you do.
“She tried to get me away from the group at least three or four times that night,” he claimed on February 23.
“[Claire is] lying through her teeth right now. She’s very cunning so I have to just watch what I say.”
The entrepreneur also dished that he had “flirty” texts from the bride that prove she was coming on to him.
Apparently, the early childhood educator continued to message him after their kiss. What’s more, is that Adam reckons Claire asked him to sneak away for some more saucy action on multiple occasions. Oookay, so let’s see the receipts, bro!
“I’m not going to lie, I did sort of lean into it a little bit, but nothing actually happened,” he admitted.
“She was making a few advances on me.”
Obvs, take this with a grain of salt because this is the man who confessed to cheating on his fiancée just days before their wedding IRL…

Chatting to Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa on February 21, Claire said the kiss lasted “two seconds, three seconds max”.
Co-host Michael “Wippa” Wiplfi then questioned who initiated the forbidden moment, A.K.A. the question on everyone’s mind.
“I think it was a, it was a mutual thing. I mean—” Claire started, before Wippa put more pressure on her.
“Who kissed who, Claire?”
Reluctantly, the early childhood educator said, “Um I don’t know I think… Do I just blame Adam?
“He’s a charismatic guy we got along, we’re laughing you know, and we vibed you know.”
When asked whether she’d contemplated kissing the groom again, Claire made her intentions clear.
“No, I’ve thought about punching Adam.” You and the rest of Australia!
The interview occurred just hours before fans watched on as Adam attempted to rationalise the kiss to his wife Janelle during the February 21 episode.
However, insiders have since confessed the dark truth behind the on-screen confrontation.
