Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Claire Nomarhas has revealed details about her scandalous kiss with Adam Seed, including who initiated the contentious pash.
The incident has had participants and viewers in a frenzy, particularly after the pair confessed to cheating on their respective partners, Jesse Burford and Janelle Han, after weeks of denial.
Now, Claire has taken to the airwaves to shed more light — and blame — on the scandal.
Chatting to Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa on February 21, the 27-year-old said the kiss lasted “two seconds, three seconds max”.
Co-host Michael “Wippa” Wiplfi then questioned who initiated the forbidden moment, A.K.A. the question on everyone’s mind.
“I think it was a, it was a mutual thing. I mean—” Claire started, before Wippa put more pressure on her.
“Who kissed who, Claire?”
Reluctantly, the early childhood educator said, “Um I don’t know I think… Do I just blame Adam?
“He’s a charismatic guy we got along, we’re laughing you know, and we vibed you know.”
When asked whether she’d contemplated kissing the groom again, Claire made her intentions clear.
“No, I’ve thought about punching Adam.” You and the rest of Australia!
The interview occurred just hours before fans watched on as Adam attempted to rationalise the kiss to his wife Janelle during the February 21 episode.
However, insiders have since confessed the dark truth behind the on-screen confrontation.

Janelle was having NONE of Adam’s BS when he arrived to talk at their apartment.
While fans saw Janelle close the door in Adam’s face before he stalked away, sources have told So Dramatic! there was more to the confrontation.
“When she tried to close the door, he jammed his arm and foot in the door so she couldn’t close it,” they explained. “She was terrified and shaking [because] he was extremely aggressive towards her.
“He didn’t respect her space at all. He kept trying to come into her room when she had told him not to.”
Confessing Adam’s behaviour was “borderline domestic abuse”, the insider said producers were forced to move him “to a different floor of the apartments”.
The producers decided to cut this incident from the final edit because “it’s not a good look for Adam”.
“But it was so much worse than what was shown.’
