Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Jesse Burford and Janelle Han have been spotted on a date together IRL amid the cheating scandal controversy between their on-screen partners.
As revealed in episode 258 of the So Dramatic! podcast, a spy spotted the pair enjoying a meal together in Perth last week and took a quick video to prove it.
“I have a short nine-second video of Janelle and Jesse together having dinner in Perth last night,” the spy dished. “My son took it and said they look like a couple.”
Adding: “It was very cosy between them.” Our hearts are melting!
The video shows the 31-year-old marriage celebrant and the 28-year-old beauty influencer sitting together at a restaurant, and they do look rather close.
However, unfortunately, production insiders have claimed that the pair are “just friends” who “get along really well.” Damn!
We’re still holding out for a friends-to-lovers arc because we just LOVE these two!

The sighting comes after the pair found themselves at the centre of a huge cheating scandal.
During the February 21 episode, it was finally revealed that their partners Claire Nomarhas and Adam Seed did share a secret kiss on a night out, after repeatedly telling everyone that nothing had happened.
To make matters worse, several cast members were aware of the kiss the whole time but never told Janelle and Jesse.
However, during the messy ordeal, Janelle and Jesse shared a heartwarming moment where they were a literal shoulder for each other to cry on.
So have they just bonded through the trauma of this f*cked ordeal and come out the other side as besties? Or have we found our next MAFS power couple?
