It’s safe to say Married at First Sight Australia has produced some cute and some downright cursed couples (looking at you Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson). As we gear up for Married at First Sight Australia 2022, let’s take a peek into their lives and all the adorable babies they’ve welcomed!
While some have stayed together, and others inevitably split, what might surprise you most is just how many contestants have welcomed children since appearing on the smash-hit show.
Zoe Hendrix and Alex Garner
in 2015, Zoe Hendrix and Alex Garner met on Married at First Sight Australia.
One of the rare couples that stayed together, the pair’s relationship went from strength-to-strength off-screen when they welcomed Harper-Rose on November 14, 2016.
While their relationship didn’t last, they continue to co-parent their daughter.
Alex has since found a new partner named Jen McCann, while Zoe has gone quiet on social media.
Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson
Let’s start with a wholesome one, shall we?
Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson met on season six of Married at First Sight Australia. Despite a bumpy start, with Cam admitting Jules wasn’t his physical type, they pushed forward and fell very much in love.
Cam popped the question to Jules, like for real, at the final vows, proving that perhaps you actually can find love on reality TV.
The MAFS 2019 golden couple got hitched in 2019, and a year later welcomed a son, Oliver, who is pretty much a spitting image of his dad.
Little Oliver features heavily on his mum and dad’s Instagrams, and the trio are the picture of a happy MAFS family.
Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson
Melissa Rawson and Bryce Ruthven had one of the most controversial relationships to come out of Married at First Sight Australia.
Their relationship on the show was tainted by accusations of gaslighting, emotional manipulation, cheating, and even a secret girlfriend.
Bryce’s treatment of Mel was so poor that viewers even petitioned for Channel Nine to make a formal appology to her, citing that the network failed to uphold their duty of care.
However, the fact that Bryce is a certified POS didn’t impact the couple in the long run.
In October 2021 the pair welcomed twin boys, Levi and Tate, who were born ten weeks premature.
Both Bryce and Mel took to Instagram to gush over their sons.
Bryce captioned a sweet pic of him standing over the bubs: “Loved for the boys you are, the men you will become and the sons you will always be 💙 👶🏼 Tate & Levi 👨👩👦👦 @lissrawson”.
Despite their ~rocky~ relationship, Bryce and Mel seem to be doting parents.
Cyrell Paule and Eden Dally
Only months after making it official, the pair welcomed a son together in February 2020.
Their son, Boston, arrived two weeks early, with Cyrell’s water breaking just as she had sat down with Eden to enjoy a cheeky Saturday night takeaway.
Cyrell has confessed that the birth was quite traumatic. However, it was all worth it as Boston is now a healthy, happy, and absolutely adorable almost-two-year-old.
Cyrell and Eden have had a rather turbulent relationship, and are constantly on-again off-again. They are currently together, but even in their off periods, the pair have continued to co-parent Boston amicably.
Season five’s Tracey Jewel didn’t find lasting love on Married at First Sight Australia. However, while things didn’t last with faux-hubby Dean Wells, Tracey found a life partner in her high school sweetheart Nathan Constable.
The pair announced the arrival of baby Frankie in March 2021, not long after the couple had tied the knot in what Tracey called “A baby shower turned wedding celebration!”
Tracey already had a daughter, Grace, from a previous relationship, and confessed on Instagram that her pregnancy and birth experience with Frankie was more difficult than with Grace.
“I was prepared for our baby boy to come early as my daughter Grace was 4 weeks early and was a natural birth,” she wrote.
Adorable Frankie features heavily on his mums Instagram, where she says he “is such a happy bubba.”
Like Tracey, Susie Bradley entered season six of Married at First Sight Australia as a single mum to daughter Baby.
Susie was also unsuccessful in her quest for MAFS love, however, in 2019 she met NRL star Todd Carney, and the rest is history.
The pair welcomed their son Lion in March 2021, and Susie took to Instagram to explain the meaning behind his name.
“A lion’s most common traits are majesty, strength, courage, justice and might. A lion stands for both gentleness and power all rolled into one. A lion in your life enables you to bring positive changes in the lives of yourself, your family and your friends.”
Shortly after Lion’s birth, Susie and Todd got tribute tattoos for their son. Susie showed off a fine-line tattoo of a mother cradling a baby, with “Lion” inked underneath. Todd opted for his son’s birth date and name.
The pair also got matching ‘11:11’ tats.
After her relationship with MAFS husband Justin Fischer didn’t work out, Carly Bowyer raised eyebrows when it was revealed she was dating her season five co-star Troy Delmege.
While things didnt last with Troy, either, Carly found love with her new partner Neil Goldman.
The pair welcomed their son Bailey “Biscuit” in December 2020, after Neil announed their pregnancy via a perfectly captioned Insta post, “We’ve been busy in iso baking a ‘Biscuit’!!”
After a scandalous AF stint on season five of Married at First SIght Australia (where she cheated on ’hubby’ Ryan Gallagher with Dean Wells), Davina Rankin found love off-screen with now-fiance Jaxon Manuel.
The pair’s daughter Mila Mae Manuel arrived in November 2019, and she recently shared a post reflecting on her motherhood journey thus far.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think my little bump would be such a smart, cheeky, happy & bubbly little girl (who’s extremely good at waving & raspberries may I add),” she wrote on Instagram.
Davina has been open about her struggles with morning sickness throughout her pregnancy, but it was obviously all worth it for her adorable little girl!
