Todd Carney has given an update on Married at First Sight’s Susie Bradley after she was rushed to hospital on June 19.
The mum of two was rushed to a Gold Coast hospital after collapsing at her Benowa Waters home, just hours after confirming her split from the former NRL player.
At the time, she was reported to be in a serious condition in intensive care.
“Susie’s fine; she’s not in hospital, she’s with me now,” Todd told The Courier Mail. “She’s in a fit and well place. She’ll probably go back to work in the next couple of days.”
While fans speculated their split was the catalyst to why Susie collapsed, Todd said that their break-up was “irrelevant”.
“Our relationship status is irrelevant to the whole conversation [about what happened],” he said.
Susie Bradley Confirms Her Split With Todd Carney
On June 18, Susie took to Instagram to confirm her breakup from her rugby-playing beau after she previously deleted all traces of their relationship online.
“Officially a member of the Hot Single Girl’s Club! What’s good to do? 😂” she penned alongside some stunning snaps.
Rumours about a potential split circulated when the reality star, who shares son Lion Carney with the athlete, shared a host of cryptic posts on June 14 indicating their couple had gone their separate ways.
At the time of publication, Susie and Todd have deactivated their Instagram accounts.
