It’s been revealed that Aussie jockey Blake Spriggs may have “ditched” his former fiancée in favour of Married at First Sight Australia 2020‘s KC Osborne.
Two months after KC revealed she’d found her “perfect person” in Blake, the duo announced in June 2022 that they were expecting their first child.
Blake, 30, subsequently proposed to the reality star in August while on their babymoon in Hawaii.

Following the pair’s engagement announcement, our DMs lit up with messages about Blake’s previous relationship.
“He isn’t a nice guy,” one source said. “He literally ditched his long-term partner in a second and was pregnant within a month to someone else.” Say what now?!
“In January, KC’s partner Blake was still engaged to a jockey called Rachel King,” the insider dished.
Who Is Rachel King, Blake Spriggs’ Former Partner?
The British-born athlete is a successful jockey in her own right, having been the first-ever woman to win the Sydney Cup. She was also the first female jockey to ride in The Everest competition in 2020.
Success aside, it seems her love life hasn’t been so triumphant!
The source dished that Rachel and Blake intended to marry in the UK; however, this was postponed due to various COVID-19 restrictions.
“Then, in December, they both tested positive for COVID. They had to isolate for protocol reasons because of their work,” they said. “Then Blake came forward a few weeks later, about mid-January, and said he met someone else.”
The split reportedly came just weeks after Rachel discussed the duo’s recovery from COVID in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald on January 6.
How Did KC Osborne and Blake Spriggs’ Relationship Start?
According to the source, the Celebrity Ex On the Beach star has “always” been open about how her romance with Blake kicked off.
“[She] always says how he dropped into her DMs, and that’s how they met,” they noted.
“So, given the timeline, it’s obvious he dropped into her DMs whilst isolating with COVID when he was still engaged to Rachel… KC is obviously the woman he met.”
Moreover, the insider said the newly engaged couple “now make fun of Rachel on their [Instagram] Stories as an inside joke”.
“He’s scum,” they said.
When KC first announced she was with the jockey, she told her Instagram followers she’d finally given up “bad boys”.
However, we’d argue a guy who gives his long-term bae the boot for a reality star is a “bad boy”…
