Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Bronte Schofield‘s bridesmaid Lauren Alex and sister Kirra Schofield have exposed Jessica Tomlinson for ruining her wedding with Harrison Boon.

As reported in episode 254 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the two women exclusively revealed why the 32-year-old construction worker’s dodgy AF “gaslighting” comments were even worse behind the scenes.

Kirra and Lauren also slammed “fame-hungry” Jessica for stirring the pot at Bronte’s wedding to get more air time, suggesting that the Bachie alum knew more about Harrison than she let on.

Kirra and Lauren explained that there were “several hours” during the wedding shoot where the guests and bridal party didn’t have microphones, which they believe would have been the right time for Jessica to approach Bronte or her family.

“I’m just confused why she didn’t pull me aside and have a conversation with me or even my parents,” Kirra questioned.

They explained that Jessica should have let the family deal with Harrison’s “red flags“.

Bronte Schofield’s sister Kirra believes “fame-hungry” Jessica Tomlinson set up the MAFS secret girlfriend drama

Kirra suggested that Jess only did it in front of the camera because she was notoriously “fame-hungry”.

“She had every opportunity to do the right thing and do it respectfully and be a genuine friend. But in her head, having five minutes of fame was more important to her than Bronte’s friendship,” Kirra said.

She added: “Jess is fame hungry, 100 per cent. She’s said in the past, the reason she wanted to go on The Bachelors was because she said, ‘I’m too hot not to be known. I want to be famous’.

“But she didn’t get that from The Bachelor. So her next move was, ‘oh, one of my friends is going on MAFS. How can I get exposure? Oh my god, I’m going to ruin the wedding’.”

Jessica reportedly told them she was “jealous” that she hadn’t been chosen to be a bridesmaid, claiming that she was hotter than the real bridal party… and even the bride!

“Bronte was going okay, so ‘she’s ruined my wedding on purpose. She’s called my best friend’s ugly. Saying that she’s hotter than me and I only chose my bridesmaids to make myself look better’. It just all came together,” Lauren said.

The TV bride later messaged Jessica to confront her, but her former friend denied trying to sabotage the wedding. But seriously, why would she ever admit to it?!

Married at First Sight weddings occur on different days

Lauren even suspected that Jessica knew Harrison would be paired with Bronte ahead of time, as each wedding occurred on a different day.

“We all got the invite saying the date of Bronte’s wedding and she also knew the date of Harrison’s wedding through Abby,” Lauren said.

She asked Jessica when they were being taken to the venue whether the guy who was dating Abby Miller also had his wedding that day.

“She said to me, ‘no, babe. I spoke to Abby and she told me that Harrison’s wedding is next Friday’. So she 100 per cent lied to me,” Lauren said.

The bridesmaids also believed Jessica was in cahoots with Married at First Sight’s producers, as she was the only guest who was allowed to use her phone on-set.

Lauren and Kirra reveal why Bronte Schofield didn’t recognise Harrison Boon after matching on a dating app before MAFS

Kirra and Lauren revealed that Bronte ghosted Harrison on the dating app Hinge, which is why she didn’t recognise him during the wedding ceremony.

“From what Bronte has told us, she matched with him and then after two like sentences of back-and-forth combo, she wasn’t interested and didn’t really give him the time of day,” Lauren said. LOL, been there!

“I think there wasn’t enough conversation, there wasn’t enough time for her to really even get to know this Hinge person,” she added, before suggesting Bronte likely had her app notifications turned off as well.

Bronte apparently didn’t make the connection between the guy that Jessica had sent in the group chat and her one-time Hinge convo because the pic the Bachie alum sent was poor quality.

“[Jessica] sent a tiny photo of this man she said was dating her friend. In the photo, he was wearing a hat and a long-sleeve rashy. The photo was really bad quality, you could hardly tell what it looks like,” Lauren said.

To be fair, Harrison DOES look like every other bloke you see on dating apps… and apparently, talks like the f*ckboys we would swipe left on too.

Harrison Boon boasts to Bronte Schofield’s sister that he was “swimming in p*ssy” before MAFS

Kirra revealed that Harrison’s claims that he was dating “multiple women on the outside” were actually a PG version of the misogynistic spiel he gave on his wedding day.

“The drama that got televised was probably like 10 per cent of what actually happened,” Kirra said. “There was also a conversation between Harrison and me that wasn’t aired.”

“I pulled him aside [because] I wanted to get to the bottom of what the f*ck happened? Because, obviously, you’ve just married my sister,” she said, admitting that she took the allegations “personally”.

She added: “I tried to get a debrief on what I had just found out. I was asking him [about the] pregnancy scandal. I was hearing the ‘age 21’ gets thrown around. With a 32-year-old man, that’s an immediate red flag.

“He started ranting about how he’d been cheated on, how he’d had [dated] multiple women on the outside and how he was ‘swimming in p*ssy’.

Kirra was “dumbfounded” by his claims, but knew that he was “lying”.

“If people can’t look you in the eye in a conversation, I know that I’m being lied to. I know that they’re not a good person,” Kirra claimed.

She added: “To be a good liar, you need to have a good memory but he has the brain of a peanut.” OUCH!
