Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Claire Nomarhas has slammed her co-star Melinda Willis for ignoring her at the TV Week Logie Awards.
Speaking to Punkee at the event, Claire admitted that she was getting “weird vibes” and “a bit of tense energy” from a “couple” of her fellow brides.
“Melinda didn’t say hi to us and we’re not really sure why,” the kindergarten assistant dished.
“I came here to have a good time, but at the end of the day, you can’t make people like you. Not everyone’s going to be your person and I’m okay with that.” Ouch.
After dragging her co-star, the 31-year-old proceeded to drop a MASSIVE bomb and we’re not sure what to make of it.
“During the show, I recall Melinda saying: ‘Claire, I really like you, but because [you cheated on Jesse], I think you’re going to be the villain so I can’t really associate with you’.” And our jaws are on the floor.
Claire then went on to say that her beef with Melinda didn’t phase her because she was tight with the rest of the cast.
“I’ve got Sandy [Jawanda], Evelyn [Ellis], Tahnee [Cook], Janelle [Han], a great crew of girls,” she said.
“I’ve got Alyssa [Barmonde] and Lyndall [Grace]. So, you know, it’s women empowering women and we’re here for that.” The SHADE!

Just hours after Claire’s brutal interview was shared, Melinda took to Instagram to defend herself against the accusations.
“I’d like to talk on this because I’m beyond being BULLIED and harassed by these mean girls,” she wrote to her Story. “The treatment I’ve received during and post-experiment is not okay.” Yikes!
Now, this isn’t the first time the 32-year-old has spoken out about her fellow brides. Melinda previously revealed that there was a “secret divide” amongst the MAFS cast, with tensions simmering between many brides and grooms.
Before the Logies Melinda actually anticipated things would be “awkward” between the cast and welp, she wasn’t wrong.
During an interview with Heatworld on June 6, Melinda confessed that she’s no longer in contact with Claire because she cheated on her on-screen hubby, Jesse Burford.
Apparently, there’s also some drama brewing between Melinda and Evelyn, despite the pair being besties on the show.
However, we have a feeling Melinda’s about to spill some MAJOR tea so we’ll be eagerly awaiting the drop.
