Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Melinda Willis and Evelyn Ellis joined forces and used their collective power to call out Bronte Schofield‘s naivety around Harrison Boon’s blatant gaslighting.
During the March 6 episode, the newfound besties were the only ones willing to speak up about Bronte’s toxic relationship at the 2023 retreat.
The women quickly became MAFS fans’ new fave “power couple” as they teamed up and personally delivered more searing one-liners in one episode than we’ve seen all season.

Melinda accused Bronte of being “naive“, telling the camera: “I think she is drinking the Harrison Kool-Aid… It’s hard to watch.”
She was, of course, referring to Bronte claiming that “Harrison has not once tried to manipulate” her. Yet again, we were left questioning whether any of these participants are aware that the events of the experienced are being filmed…

Meanwhile, Evelyn pondered how to get a priest to show up to the Wollondilly Shire retreat at late notice.
“I feel like Bronte may need an exorcism from the little devil on her shoulder, talking in her ear and the devil is Harrison,” she said.
As well as producing some absolute zingers, MAFS fans praised the women for speaking up about Harrison being emotionally manipulative to Bronte.
Has Harrison Boon really “brainwashed” Bronte Schofield on Married at First Sight?
But despite Melinda and Evelyn’s best efforts, Harrison’s “brainwashing” appeared to hold strong.

Bronte confronted Melinda about being called “naive”, which she claimed was offensive. Babes, still seeing Harrison’s BS play out on our TVs is far more offensive than that will ever be.
Fans (and the Married at First Sight cast, apparently), unanimously agreed that the only reasonable explanation for Bronte’s steadfast “faith” in Harrison must be because she just wanted to stay on national TV for a lil’ longer.
