Married At First Sight Australia 2023’s Dan Hunjas and Evelyn Ellis‘ nasty ‘butt dial’ feud has exploded on live radio after the pair went head-to-head in a fiery clash.
The co-stars have been at the centre of the show’s infamous ‘butt dial’ drama that dramatically came to a head during the Dinner Party on March 1.
During the episode, the 28-year-old model confronted the father-one, 42, after exposing him for talking badly about his wife Sandy Jawanda during a boy’s night out.
Just when we thought the dust might have settled, things took a wild turn on The Kyle and Jackie O Show the following morning.
Evelyn called the groom a “piece of shit” and a “loser” for denying his involvement in the butt-dial scandal before Dan was dialled in and the pair hashed things out on live radio. Yikes!
“Dan was saying he doesn’t need [the show],” she explained. “It was definitely a diss which goes to show his insecurities. And the dude’s like 36, what are you doing hanging around at the bar, showing men the girls that you used to smash in the past? Like, loser!”
When asked by host Jackie O Henderson if he said he could do better than Sandy, Evelyn replied saying, “I would say that’s the nice way to put it, for sure.”

As revealed in episode 262 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Dan allegedly had three secret girlfriends whilst filming MAFS. And it seems like Evelyn has been listening to So Dramatic! because she referenced this tea during her interview.
“He had three girlfriends during the show, he’s a real piece of sh*t,” she said. “That’s why he was gone for six hours at a time, it all makes sense now so I don’t feel bad.”
Adding: “The guy’s a street cat.” LOL!
She went on to share that the most disgusting parts of the boy’s chat were edited out of the show.
While she didn’t say exactly what was said, she hinted that “it has to do with someone’s ethnicity and let’s leave it at that.”
So Dramatic! previously reported that Dan made racist and fat-shaming comments about Sandy during filming.

During the interview, the Gold Coast businessman called in to defend himself, denying Evelyn’s allegations.
“These stories are just ridiculous and they’re getting out of hand… I was 100% faithful inside the experiment,” he said.
“There are absolutely some things that I had said, I am happy to own and admit those things but the butt-dial absolutely did not happen,” he said.
However, Evelyn didn’t come to f*ck spiders and pulled out some hard evidence.
“Let’s bring out the receipts… I’m more than happy to bring my phone out if that helps,’ she clapped back.
The TV groom stood by his defence, claiming that the timing just didn’t add up.
“I said, ‘What time did this apparent butt-dial happen?’ And she goes, ‘It was after eight o’clock,’” and Dan claims he was already home by then.
He went on to claim that there is no way she would have been able to clearly hear a conversation at a bar through a phone in a pocket.
Evelyn eventually admitted that she pieced the conversation together from a combination of what she heard and what her on-screen husband Rupert Budgen had told her.

The TV bride then unleashed on Dan, saying: “I think you are probably mad that you got caught out and you thought you were going to come across as this gentleman, and now Australia hates you.” Ouch!
Dan hit back claiming he was honest with Sandy from day one that they weren’t a good match and that’s what he had been “chatting” to the boys about.
“The chats that I was having with the boys were very much similar to that, saying that we were deliberately mismatched,” he stated.
“If boys can’t go out and have a chat about what’s going on, then I’m guilty!”
According to Evelyn, Rupert told her Dan was “showing all the boys photos of his ex-girlfriends, boasting about how hot [they] were.”
“Absolutely there were things that were said, but the way that Evelyn had described it and blew it all up out of proportion was absolutely not [what] happened,” Dan said in response.
So did you say the shitty things about Sandy or not, Dan? Because no one cares about the logistics of the butt-dial, they only care about whether you’re an a**hole.
Dan Hunjas claims Sandy and he faked their relationship
Dan went on to claim that the show “deliberately mismatched” him with Sandy and therefore, the pair never stood a chance. He also said he’d been totally honest with Sandy behind the scenes from the start.
“There are text messages between Sandy and she where she goes, ‘You told me you could never fall in love with me. I feel hurt. I feel rejected,’ Absolutely, we had those conversations behind the scenes.”
He then dropped another bombshell claiming he has texts from Sandy proving she wanted to plan “a secret arrangement to get to the end.”
When asked why he decided to sleep with Sandy if he knew he was not attracted to her, Dan admitted it was a mistake but said they’re “two consenting adults”.
He went on to explain that at the time discussed their plan for a secret relationship, so he wasn’t tricking her.
Dan and Sandy’s “arranged fake marriage” was also revealed during episode 263 of the So Dramatic! podcast after a producer revealed what really went on BTS of their relationship.
