Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Dan Hunjas has revealed where he really was when he went MIA during filming for extended periods.
ICYMI: During the February 28 episode, his TV wife Sandy Jawanda complained about the fact that he’s never home and goes for six-hour runs at a time.
Now, the 42-year-old groom has detailed the truth about his whereabouts in a series of rogue Facebook posts shared immediately after the episode aired.
“Surprise surprise!! Dan at the beach…,” he wrote alongside some paparazzi photos of himself and a female friend at Bondi Beach.
“Neverrrr!!! Dan would frequent Bondi Beach and catch up with friends during non-filming times where he pretty much is every day on the Gold Coast. Only returning to the apartments for booked filming times,” he wrote.
“Sandy always knew where Dan was as the leaked text messages prove.

The father-of-one went on to say that Sandy “hates the beach” and instead spends her free time plotting against him.
“Sandy prefers to spend her free time inside coming up with plans on how to blindside Dan after she set up a secret arrangement with him to stay a few more weeks to increase her Instagram followers,” he claimed.
In another post, he wrote: “When you’re in an agreed fake relationship and your fake TV bride creates fake drama with the help of producers to create a fake narrative. But Dan has the texts that prove otherwise!”
The TV groom then reshared an article that read: “MAFS: Shock photos expose where Dan ‘disappeared to while filming.” He commented underneath it, saying: “Nothing shocking about it.”
“Dan was mainly at the beach on non-filming times where he pretty much is every day on the GC,” he continued. “Sandy knew about it and used that time to orchestrate his downfall with the help of production and her friends.”

The posts come after Dan told his friend Georgia that he and Sandy were “incompatible” and she wasn’t a “whole human” because she doesn’t like the beach. FYI, Sandy is actually allergic to ocean water and therefore can’t go in it.

Dan has also been accused of making racist and fat-shaming remarks about Sandy during the experiment.
