Married at First Sight Australia 2023 fans felt like they understood Cameron Woods’ fear of affection towards Lyndall Grace a LOT more after getting to know his mother Fiona. 

During the February 28 episode, the carpenter’s mum shared her perspective on Lyndall wanting to recieve more physical affection.

Cameron’s mum claimed that Lyndall’s need for affection was an “insecurity” and she was “craving attention”.

The 27-year-old groom later questioned Lyndall, her mum Kelly-Anne and the experts on their unwavering belief that he should be forced to hug her whenever she wants.

During the last Commitment Ceremony, the Married at First Sight “experts” told Cameron that he should push past his own discomfort in order to comfort his wife.

To be fair, that part raised major dubious consent alarm bells for us too…

Kelly-Anne eventually apologised to Cameron for “pressuring” Cameron… But we’re not holding our breath for the MAFS experts to admit to their wrongdoings (literally ever).

The experts may also have to face the wrath of Sandy Jawanda‘s growing fanbase after THAT butt-dial scandal.

After finding his way to villain status during the Febuary 27 episode, Dan Hunjas decided to “beast mode” his way into the top five problematic men of MAFS 2023.

And seriously, that’s really saying something…

“If I spent as much time at the gym as you do on this f*cking couch, I’d be absolutely shredded and ripped to no end,” Dan told Sandy.

He added: “When I’m running, I’m only running with people that can keep up with me.” Alrighty…

But the drama didn’t end there, as intruder Evelyn Ellis revealed that she overheard Dan saying “pretty disgusting” things about Sandy.

“He was insinuating that he was too good for this experiment and too good for you,” Evelyn said.

“[Dan] was showing all the boys photos of his ex-girlfriends… like boasting about how hot they were.” 

Ever the queen of maturity, Sandy didn’t shoot the messenger.

“I’m so glad that you told me this because I thought I was going crazy,” Sandy said.
