Dan Hunjas was allegedly making racist and fat-shaming remarks about his Indian TV wife Sandy Jawanda during Married at First Sight Australia 2023.
ICYMI: The 42-year-old businessman was busted slagging her off to the other husbands during the infamous ‘butt dial’ scandal. But turns out he was also saying some truly f*cked things about Sandy to his friends outside the experiment.
As revealed in episode 261 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Dan was allegedly saying some “pretty derogatory things” about the 36-year-old dental hygenist.
“Racist and fat-shaming stuff,” one friend of Dan’s dished. “He was saying, ‘I can’t believe they stitched me up and paired me with Sandy’.
“He also said, ‘I can’t stand living with her. All I hear is this Indian sh*t playing all the time. Meanwhile, I have Tupac playing in my ear. We’re clearly not compatible.’”
And yikes, when did having different tastes in music become a deal-breaker?
The source went on to claim that the father-of-one also called Sandy “lazy”, “foul-mouthed” and a “smashed egg.”
“He said he can’t believe he’s been put with a fat chick and wasn’t paired with a blonde bimbo,” they revealed. “Dan said all the other brides are so hot and meanwhile he’s stuck with Sandy.
“He described it like being in Candyland and not being able to touch anything.” GROSS!

The revelation comes after Dan admitted that Sandy that she “wasn’t his type”, which is to say she isn’t the blonde, booby, girly-girl vibe he usually goes for.
We all had a sliver of hope that Dan and Sandy would be endgame after their wedding proved to be cute AF — after we got past the “casual racism” displayed by the groom’s guests…
Now, as reported in episode 257 of the So Dramatic! podcast, it seems the wedding was not where the hard-to-swallow commentary stopped.
ICYMI: Dan is now *allegedly* hooking up with one of his guests, Samantha Symes, meaning his relo with Sandy is no more due to one specific reason.
“It didn’t work out because she wasn’t the type he was looking for,” one contestant told host Megan Pustetto.
“He was looking for blonde hair, blue-eyed, sexy girl with big tits. And that’s not her.”
Dan reportedly “told Sandy this”, which the reality star later relayed to her fellow brides.
The 36-year-old then “felt like she wasn’t enough for him because that’s how he made her feel”.
“She wasn’t what he signed up for [and] he didn’t even give her a chance,” the contestant added.
“It feels pretty racist if you ask me.”
TBH, his new bae Samantha doesn’t really buy into the “blonde” requirement either but eh, we’ll bite!

Another source revealed that some spicy whispers were circulating Dan and Sandy’s wedding about who he was expected to be matched with.
Apparently, Dan’s friends told Sandy’s guests that they “expected him to be paired with Melinda [Willis]“.
“She got leaked a day or two before and she’s [from the] Gold Coast and up his alley,” they explained.
The source added that Dan’s mates also confirmed his “type” of “blonde hair, blue eyes and big boobs”. Ah, yes, key personality traits…
Further adding fuel to the fire, another spy said the father-of-one “tends to date only blonde babes and doesn’t like Indians or Asians”.
“So his current match will be difficult for him.” Yikes, move over, Cody Bromley!
