Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Sandy Jawanda has broken her silence on THAT confession scene with her co-star Claire Nomarhas after claims the whole thing was staged.
ICYMI: Claire and her co-star Adam Seed shared a cheeky pub pash during filming, cheating on their respective partners Jesse Burford and Janelle Han.
The shady duo kept the kiss under wraps for weeks before the kindergarten assistant finally came clean to Sandy in an emotional confession scene.
However, during his spicy tell-all on the So Dramatic! Podcast, Jesse insinuated that the tear-jerking scene was completely staged by production.
Now, Sandy has addressed the claim and warning: hot tea ahead!
During an Instagram Q&A on May 28, a fan asked the dental hygenist: “Jesse said you knew about the kiss and lied to him. I was quite shocked you are still friends”.
Sandy responded by admitting that there was some truth to it and she found out about the forbidden kiss a few days before it was revealed to Jesse.
“I didn’t know [about the kiss]. Claire told me Friday night. We don’t film on the weekends. Monday morning producers asked her to confess to me again on camera. For the viewers,” she dished.
“She had already told me she was coming clean. Jesse and our cast mates know this. I have never hidden this from them.
“Jesse’s need to paint Claire as a villain is surprising…I’m disappointed.” Hmm, cheating absolutely warrants the villain title, but go off sis!
Sandy Jawanda reveals some MAJOR tea about Jesse Burford
Sandy then proceeded to drop the bomb of all bombs that Jesse knew that her on-screen husband Dan Hunjas was cheating on HER during the experiment!
“I was also told by multiple cast mates that Jesse knew about Dan’s infidelity during the experiment and kept it from me. I see who he is aligning himself with now,” she wrote.
“Helps me understand who is painting this narrative in his mind.” Yikes. We hope Jesse hasn’t joined Harrison Boon‘s ‘Bad Boys For Life’ club…
