Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Jesse Burford has exposed ableist language used by his TV wife Claire Nomarhas in deleted scenes.

The marriage celebrant is a fiend for going rogue about sh*t that went down on the show, including spilling his guts during a two-part tell-all on the So Dramatic! podcast.

Now that he has his Instagram back, he’s not holding back, with a recent Q&A revealing more unsavoury facts about his bae who, if y’all remember, pashed Adam Seed behind his back.

“What’s one thing you want everyone who follows you to know?” one fan asked the 30-year-old.

“Claire was in [Adam’s] DMs after the kiss, asking to hang out after filming hours,” Jesse revealed.

“She said she’d rather [have] been matched with him instead of ‘this r*tard’ and point to me [sic].” Yikes, kinda gross behaviour by an early learning educator…

FYI: The term is a form of hate speech that has evolved from “mental retardation”, which was originally introduced as a medical term in 1961 for people with intellectual disabilities.

The phrase is now used to target those within the disabled community.

In the same post, Jesse corroborated claims that the scene in which Claire admits to Sandy Jawanda that she’d kissed Adam was staged by producers.

He wrote: “The scene where she ‘comes clean’ to Sandy was to set up her redemption arc.

“Sandy already knew.”

In a subsequent slide, another follower questioned if it was “true” that Jesse was “asked whether [he was] on the [autism] spectrum”.

According to the Western Australian, it is “100%” true.

He added that it was “used as an insult… on camera”. However, “it didn’t make TV”.

Jesse has clarified to So Dramatic! that Claire was the participant who made comments about him potentially having autism, a neurodevelopmental condition commonly characterised by difficulties with social communication and interaction, as well as restricted or repetitive behaviours or interests.

He added: “I have family friends who are mentally handicapped, so it struck a very personal nerve with me.

“Plus, my inbox got bombed with outrage (that anyone would still be saying that in 2023) when I posted that on my story yesterday.”

So Dramatic! has contacted Claire for comment.

Jesse Burford labels Married at First Sight wife Claire Nomarhas ‘hypocritical’

Another fan asked Jesse whether he had listened to Claire’s interview on the Where’s Your Head At? podcast in April.

“Do you agree with what she was saying[?]” they added.

According to Jesse, Claire “said some absolutely ludicrous things”.

For example: “She said I put her 5th on the ranking challenge and Janelle [Han] 1st,” he recalled. “That’s a lie.

“I put TAHNEE 1st, Claire 2nd [and] Janelle 4th.”

He also said Claire’s comment that people are either “real as f*ck or fake as f*ck” is laughable.

“That comment… is the most hypocritical thing I’ve ever heard in my life.”
