Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Jesse Burford has admitted to staging paparazzi pics and we did not expect this from him.
On July 12, the marriage celebrant told PerthNow that the adorable snaps of him holding hands with co-star Janelle Han were set up and we admire the honesty!
“It’s quite ironic because we deliberately took photos of us holding hands to stir the pot,” he admitted.
“Janelle and I knew each other a little bit at that point. But the funny thing is, after we started taking pictures of us cuddling and going out and stuff, that began the process of us actually connecting.”
Whilst the two decided to remain friends, the 30-year-old revealed that things may’ve been different if they lived in the same state.
“We did share a kiss before she moved to Sydney and I think if she stayed in Perth it probably could have gone somewhere, to be honest with you,” he confessed. And no, we’re not crying, you are!
The former TV groom also shared that so many people were sliding into his social media DMs that he didn’t even need to download dating apps!

Now, Jesse isn’t the only MAFS 2023 cast member who’s been busted setting up pap shots. Walking red flag Harrison Boon was caught in the act by his co-star, Tayla Winter.

In the clip shared on Tayla’s Instagram Story, Harrison and his girlfriend Gina can be seen walking towards a paparazzo outside Sydney’s Coogee Pavillion.
“Can’t believe my favourite villain is coming to Hobart to visit this weekend,” Tayla wrote.
What’s more, is that they did multiple takes to get the shot. LOL!
