Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Ollie Skelton dared Rupert Bugden to set up a fake relationship pap shoot with one of his co-stars and we’re cackling.
On June 12, the voice-over artist took to Instagram to share a juicy snippet of his new podcast, Tosser Pod, and sh*t’s already hit the fan.
In the video, the 26-year-old posed the ultimate dare for his bestie Rupert.
“Do you think there’s anybody on the show that you could call and say: ‘Hey, do you want to pretend for a month that we’re in a fake relationship?” Ollie asked.
Like the good sport he is, the electrician picked up his phone and called one of the MAFS brides, telling her he’d been thinking about her a lot.
“You only get a short time on this crazy thing called MAFS and I was wondering … Do you want to set up a few pap shots and make it a thing for a month for the publicity?”
The mystery bride laughed and responded: “If you want to, we can do that.” And our jaws are on the floor!
But clearly, she was pulling his leg, as she added: “Publicity…who do you think we are?”
“I’ll check with my management and make it work,” Rupert replied.
The savage contestant then said: “Thank you for using me”, and this is why we LOVE MAFS!

Fans flocked to the comment section to share their opinions on who they thought was on the phone with Rupert, with a majority of them agreeing that it was Bronte Schofield.
In response, the online beauty educator commented with a melting face emoji, followed by “Another day, another headline,” so maybe it was her?
Other users speculated that Tayla Winter was the reality star in question.
However, one savage fan insinuated that Rupert and Ollie were calling out their co-stars for having a fake relationship, writing: “Is this about Duncan [James] and Evelyn [Ellis]?” The shade!
Bronte Schofield says she never agreed to be in a ‘fake relationship’
Not long after, the 28-year-old posted an Instagram Story clearing things up once and for all.
It turns out she WAS the mystery bride on Tosser Pod. However, claimed she NEVER agreed to setting up a fake fling with Rupert.
“I did not say I was going to be in a fake relationship or that I’d be okay with it,” she wrote.
“[The conversation on the podcast] was about ‘pap’ photos. I wasn’t ‘busted’ for anything Mr. Daily Mail,” she added.
