Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Bronte Schofield has revealed even more explosive tea about her relationship with her on-screen hubby Harrison Boon in her first Instagram Q&A.
On May 16, the beauty educator took to Instagram to answer questions about her time in the marriage experiment.
One fan asked if there were any moments that she wished were aired that weren’t.
“Uhhh my actual relationship,” the 28-year-old wrote with a laughing emoji.
“All the happy moments of [Harrison] and I were completely cut out, it wasn’t a true representation at all (only the bad parts) which is why it looked SO bad when I stayed because it looked inauthentic and fake when it was far from it!”
She also admitted that she actually believed the BS the 32-year-old fed her on the show, calling herself an “Idiot”. TBH, we’ve all been there!
Several fans also asked the former bride if she’d found herself a new boo since the show ended.
“Let me squish this now, I am very much single and very happy about it!” she announced.
“I don’t jump into a new relationship to avoid healing, I do the work, I take accountability for the downfalls I might have caused in my relationship so I can be the best version of myself!”
Bronte then revealed that working on herself has been a “liberating and intense journey”.
“I have been working on loving myself foremost before entering anything new and it has been the most liberating and intense journey I’ve ever endured, I have come so far and the next relationship I enter into I plan to be the best version of myself.” Yaas queen, as you should!

Bronte revealed that she hasn’t spoken to her former hubby since the show finished airing and she “intends on keeping it that way.” Which we fully support BTW.
She also listed the co-stars she’s remained in touch with since filming wrapped.
“I speak to Lyndall [Grace] every day, she gets front row [access] to my dramatic life,” she wrote. “I truly got a bestie out of it all and I’m so happy!
The reality star dished that she still speaks to “the girls”, however, Sandy Jawanda has been there for her “like no other.”
“I’m very grateful for the friendships I formed regardless of my terrible time on the experiment,” she shared.
Bronte admits she’s been struggling mentally since filming wrapped
Things haven’t been so rosy for Bronte who admitted that she’s been struggling mentally since filming wrapped due to the bullying she received online.
“Half my days [over] the last four to five months I’ve stared into oblivion and been a shell of myself either crying all day or not leaving my house,” she wrote to Instagram.
“I don’t think anyone understands how bad the bullying got, I want to be as real as I can but I had some help,” she confessed.
Bronte also told her followers that she was “terrified to speak [her] truth” after “copping such hateful messages online”, however, she credits the So Dramatic! podcast for giving her a platform to share her side of the story.
And girl, we loved having you!
“I sat back and waited until I felt ready to speak. I’ve done ONE podcast, that’s it.
“I wasn’t ready to share, but when I was finally ready, I was real…raw and honest. I didn’t do it to prove anything to anyone or change anyone’s mind about me…I just didn’t want anyone running my narrative,” she wrote.
Bronte gives her advice to people considering applying for Married at First Sight
Bronte also gave some advice to anyone considering applying for the marriage experiment in the future.
“Trust your gut, no matter what anyone else says, no matter what you feel, your gut never lies!” she penned.
“Stay true to your values and don’t let anyone walk all over you, if it seems off, it generally is! Be prepared for ANYTHING.
“There is nothing I can say to make anyone prepared as everyone’s journey is different but take it from me. If you love your life and are happy with who you are, love will eventually find you, you don’t need to risk it for the five per cent chance of finding someone on TV.”
The reality star was also asked to share her “favourite piece of advice [she’s] ever been given.”
“Treat others how you wish to be treated yourself,” she wrote.
“I used to lash out at anyone who didn’t agree with me or who said things…just to hurt me,” she started.
“But this all comes down to projection! How someone treats you is a direct reflection of how they feel about themselves! Spread kindness and treat everyone with respect, but wish them healing if they project so much hate.
“Those people need it the most. Projection is ugly.” Period!
