Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Bronte Schofield has set the record straight on claims her TV husband, Harrison Boon, “sexually exploited” her during the experiment.
As previously reported by So Dramatic!, MAFS insiders dished that Harrison was detailing (read also: embellishing) his sex life with Bronte at the final Dinner Party before she had arrived.
Now, in part four of her tell-all on the So Dramatic! podcast, Bronte has confirmed her former flame was just as gross as described.
In episode 284 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the 28-year-old said she was “expecting to see” the incident unfold on screen.
“Because it would just make so much more sense why I was so disgusted and wound up,” she explained.
Coming off the back of an unexpected split from Harrison (remember that breakup text?), Bronte said she felt “more confident” entering the Dinner Party.
That is, until she heard was Dirty Harry had been spewing.
What did Harrison Boon say about Bronte Schofield at the Dinner Party?
“The girls basically just came straight up to me and they; ‘re like, ‘We need to talk to you’. And that’s when Harrison’s like, ‘Can I have a talk to my wife?'” Bronte recalled.
After telling him to “leave [her] alone”, she sat with her co-stars and learned that Harrison had “spent the last 20 minutes talking about [our] sex life at the Retreat”.
“We didn’t have sex on the retreat,” she clarified.
The girls continued: “He was talking about where you guys did it and how many times and just sexually exploiting you and your body.
“I was shaking that hard, I couldn’t even hold my wine glass,” she said. “I was absolutely beside myself.”
Harrison reportedly tried to interject a second time, which Bronte shut down straight away.
“That’s why I’ve gone, ‘I don’t really want to talk to you right now’. He was freaking out that the girls were gonna tell me.”
Reflecting on that Dinner Party, Bronte said she was “so angry” at Harrison.
“I was mortified, I was so humiliated,” she confessed. “I was like, ‘How can you talk about me like that? This is disgusting’.”

Sources also told So Dramatic! that Harrison had fat-shamed his bride several times.
According to one insider, the father-of-one told Bronte: “You’re not as snatched as you were”, “You’ve gotten used to married life”, “You’ve let yourself go”, and “You’re fluffy now”.
Looking back on her time with Harrison, Bronte told host Megan Pustetto that Harrison wasn’t shy in commenting on her body.
“I’d get changed in front of him… and I was getting dressed one day, and he goes, ‘Oh’,” she recalled. “I went, ‘What?’
“And he goes, ‘You’re definitely not as shredded as you were at the wedding. Like, you’ve got a bit fluffy’.”
She said she “grabbed her towel right away” and left the room after Harrison tried to minimise the blow by saying they “both have [put on weight]”.
“I’ve gone into the bathroom and shut the door… I just cried.”
The interaction soon had Bronte wondering whether her weight was the reason Harrison didn’t “want to come near [her]”.
“I just felt so sh*t about myself. The guy that I like basically just said that my body isn’t good enough,” she continued. “So, I’m not blonde enough, I’m not young enough, I’m not a ‘yes’ girl.
“And now he’s fat-shaming me.”
Bronte later admitted that Harrison’s comments affected her so much that she “went straight to the gym, every day”.
“It was so damaging.” Yikes. Poor girl having to put up with that BS!
