A tradie from The Block 2024 has made explosive claims about fan favourites Ricky Recard and Haydn Wise, and if true, they’re maybe not as wholesome as we thought!
Despite coming across as loveable larrikins, suspicions began to rise after the pair were slammed for replicating Indigenous artwork. It also came out that Ricky dumped his girlfriend for the show’s makeup artist, and his dad claimed he had lied about his “abusive” childhood.
In a fan group on Facebook, someone who claimed to be an electrician on the current season left a scathing review about the best friend duo under the alias ‘Myke Hunt’, stating he’d “call it how it is”.
It’s no secret that newbies Maddy and Charlotte Harry have been “bullied” by their cast mates since arriving on the show, especially when their co-stars discovered they were experienced house flippers.
According to the mystery tradie, Ricky and Haydn were the catalysts behind their “interrogation” and “made their lives miserable”.
The electrician also alleged that the duo were “very racist” towards co-star Mimi Belperio.
Not only that, but Ricky allegedly “slept or tried to sleep with any female on-site”, which he’d “boast about”.
“Including the Consentino consultant, a barista at McCafe who had to leave the show, producers, and the makeup lady whilst his girlfriend took care of his dog,” the tradie claimed.

The electrician also stated that the pair were the “laziest of all the contestants,” which is why they “never finished their rooms.”
“They were more concerned with the bar crusher, fishing, gym or the pub, let alone the party gear to keep them going,” the tradie alleged.
“This is more my opinion than anything objective. But they were by far the most arrogant contestants this year,” they said, claiming it was “funny” how the “abuse” from fans was “getting hurled at the other teams”.
The source finished by urging viewers to “relax on the other contestants”. Sheesh!
