The Block 2023 fans have revealed which teams from the latest series they’d like to see return next year.
According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, a batch of 2023 stars may be gracing our screens AGAIN in 2024.
“There’s still chatter about bringing back some celebrated contestants for the 20th season,” one source dished. “But applications are still open for newbies. So the rumour is it will be half newbies and half returnees.” Ooh!
This wouldn’t be the first time former Blockheads have returned to the show, because there’s already been five seasons featuring cast from the past.
And of course, fans have already taken to social media to speculate which team will return to the iconic show.
Unsurprisingly, people were keen for fan favourites Eliza and Liberty Paschke and Kyle and Leslie Cottone to return.
Others wanted to see winners Steph and Gian Ottavio battle it out again, but fans argued that they’d “won enough” money this year. And fair enough!
Meanwhile, people were hoping “villains” Kristy and Brett Beams could get a chance to “redeem themselves” after winning a modest $65,000 on auction day, whilst others voted for their besties Leah and Ash Milton.
The Block fans ask producers to give ‘NEW people a chance’
On the other hand, some iewers agreed that they’d love to see fresh faces on the show next year.
“Give new people a go that are down on their luck,” one wrote, whilst others agreed that they didn’t want to see any “influencers”.
And when fans asked for “new people”, they really meant it, because many also called for long-time hosts Scott Cam and Shelley Craft to be replaced.
“[I don’t want] Cam and Craft [to return] and definitely not the judges. Thank you,” one user savagely wrote.
It looks like everyone’s ready for a shake-up!
