Even more of Married at First Sight Australia 2024 groom Jack Dunkley‘s lies to his ex-girlfriend Courtney have surfaced, and it somehow gets even worse.
ICYMI: Despite not appearing on the show, the experiment was shrouded in drama involving Courtney and Jack after she claimed he dumped her pre-MAFS and told her he was moving to America for a job opportunity.
A few weeks into the filming of MAFS 2024, Courtney learned that Jack was on the show, thanks to some paparazzi pics that leaked.
Now, in episode 378 of the So Dramatic! podcast, it’s been revealed that not only did Jack say he was moving to the US for work, but he also pretended to be there whenever he spoke to Courtney.
“They were in constant contact while he was filming his wedding and honeymoon and the early weeks of filming,” one insider revealed.
“He was acting like he was in America, even going as far as to tell her things like how hard it is to drive on the other side of the road and how good the food is.” FFS…
“Then, a few weeks into filming, the photos of Jack and Tori [Adams]‘s wedding leaked, and that’s when Courtney found out he was on MAFS. She had no idea until then. She fully believed he was in America.”
Jack Dunkley called Courtney ‘begging for forgiveness’ after pap photos were released
After paparazzi photos of Jack and Tori’s wedding went public, Courtney slammed the groom on social media.
However, she quickly stopped, with the source telling host Megan Pustetto this was because “Jack called her begging for her forgiveness”.
“[He said] he was only doing the show for fame so he could launch a fitness app and other stuff like that after,” they explained.
“He convinced her that it was an amazing opportunity that would lead to fame and fortune for them both. That the show would make him blow up, and he can launch this fitness app and set them both up for their future.”
The insider continued: “He was saying he is in love with her, they have a future together, and just to trust him and stick it out.
“He asked her to wait for him. So they continued talking during filming.” OMG!

Jack reportedly told Courtney that they’d reunite after MAFS (which they briefly did) and that “he had no feelings for Tori”.
“That’s why Courtney didn’t respond when Timothy [Smith] reached out to her to come to the Reunion. She genuinely thought Jack was going to get back with her after filming,” the insider admitted.
“Not to mention, they were talking the entire time during filming and slept together during and after.’
The source then said Jack is “only staying with Tori because he is backed into a corner and has no other choice”.
“He’s trying to save face and prove the haters wrong. So he gave Courtney the flick because he had no other option but to continue this facade with Tori,” they claimed.
Now, this lowkey adds up, with Jack having launched a website for his personal training, nutrition and coaching services.
This comes after it was revealed both Jack and Courtney were pursuing legal action against each other.
