The Block 2023‘s Eliza and Liberty Paschke have made the bold statement that they have “no chance of winning” the show after learning their home’s reserve price.

The sisters, who have one of the largest properties on Charming Street, Hampton East, revealed their doubts on KIIS 101.1’s Jase & Lauren on November 3.

The Blockheads reportedly learned what Nine set their reserve prices at on November 2, just two days before the auctions on November 4.

“There’s just no chance in hell we’re winning because it’s [their reserve] unrealistically high,” Eliza said.

“In comparison to the other [contestants]… They should all be really happy.”

The sisters remained tight-lipped on the exact reserve price, which won’t be revealed to viewers until the finale airs on Sunday.

Elsewhere in the interview, Eliza and Liberty said the chase to lock down bidders is still underway at the time of writing.

“It’s all very last minute,” Eliza confessed. “We’ve got buyers still coming in this afternoon.”

Liberty then revealed Steph and Gian Ottavio have really been on the bidder grind since filming wrapped.

“Steph and Gian have about 657 buyers on their house,” she said. “They’re such hustlers. But yeah, I mean they actually really deserve it because they hustle. We just don’t.”

Eliza Paschke said she’s ‘turned a new leaf’ amid feud with co-stars.

It’s no secret cast of The Block 2023 haven’t been besties all season, with Eliza and Liberty often the target of Kristy and Brett Beams‘ criticisms.

However, the sisters have revealed things have been nothing but “mature” and “amicable” since the Blockheads reunited this week.

“We wouldn’t be mad [if the others won],” Eliza said. “Can I just say, I’ve turned over a new leaf. I can’t give anything away but there’s been a moment.

“I just decided that I was going to try and let my walls down and be open to the experience. And I’m really going to look at this all now, very positively.”

She concluded: “I’d really, genuinely be happy for everyone to get some money.”
