The Block 2023‘s Kristy and Brett Beams had an awkward encounter on live radio when they tried to confront hosts for covering them negatively.
ICYMI: The controversial couple’s landscaper Dan went rogue on the Fifi, Fev & Nick show, calling the pair “game players” and stating they “threw” him “under the bus”.
During their appearance on the radio show on October 26, the Adelaide-based couple tried to confront hosts Fifi Box, Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody for airing this conversation with Dan.
Brett called out the hosts, stating that this was “steering a narrative” of “hate” against the pair.
“You’ve called us venomous on this show, you’ve called us bad people … it’s very apparent what you want people to think of us,” he retorted.
Brett also accused the trio of setting up the call, implying that the landscaper didn’t reach out on his own accord.
Nick Cody says he doesn’t watch The Block
Fifi then asked the couple: “Who in this room has called you venomous or bad guys? Because I don’t think those words came from us.”
And after Brett identified Nick as the culprit, he got a rude shock when the host admitted he didn’t even watch The Block.
“Mate, I’ve actually never seen a frame of that show and I couldn’t care less,” Nick said.
“People arguing over building a house? I couldn’t care less. I haven’t heard a second of it. That’s the most hurtful thing anyone’s ever said — accusing me of watching The Block!” LOL!
Brendan chimed in, confirming that his co-host looked at his phone whenever The Block contestants were interviewed on air.
“He doesn’t give a sh*t about you guys,” he clapped back.
