There is reportedly another reason The Block 2023‘s Kyle and Leslie Cottone opted to sell their extra-point gnome to House Four.

As the series draws to a close, the final week of renovations has been rocked as Kyle and Leslie seemingly sold their gnome to Steph and Gian Ottavio as revenge against Ash and Leah Milton in House Two.

Kyle and Leslie and Ash and Leah recently came to blows after House Two questioned whether their fixed price invoice for their yard was truly above board.

As such, House One sold off their gnome to Steph and Gian in hopes that House Four would win the reveal and, in turn, the Ford Mustang Ash and Leah so desperately wanted.

However, an insider from The Block has confessed there may be more to Kyle and Leslie’s petty act.

There was a ‘push’ for House One to be involved in more drama

Apparently, there was “a push for Kyle and Leslie to get more involved in the drama”.

The source told Yahoo! Lifestyle that Leslie was brought to tears just two weeks before filming ended. Apparently she had heard “a comment that she had brought nothing to the series”.

“Leslie was overheard saying that she was deeply disappointed at how she was coming across and feared she would barely be seen in the final edit”, they said.

“House One would have probably laughed off Leah and Ash if this was in the first few weeks. So to get revenge the way they did was completely out of character.”

Despite Leah feeling like she was “betrayed”, fans couldn’t be happier with the brutal snub.

“Loving this energy from Kyle & Leslie they give no f*cks,” one fan wrote online.
