Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Alyssa Barmonde has shared that her on-screen hubby Duncan James‘ exes have slid into her DMs.
During her appearance on the Lara on Eyre: After MAFS Edition podcast, the mother-of-one confessed that she’d received some juicy tea about the cyber security salesman’s past relationships.
According to the former bride, Duncan’s exes reached out to her on Instagram because they felt “really bad” about the way she was portrayed. They also provided her with some “inside knowledge” about their relationships with him.
When host Lara Eyre asked the 35-year-old to share some of this tea, she said that she didn’t want to “say too much”, but she felt sorry for all of his exes.
Ouch! Maybe he’s not the good guy we thought he was…

During Confessions Week, Alyssa made a juicy admission that she was “complicit in an affair.” However, this wasn’t the confession she wanted to spill.
Alyssa originally wanted to tell Duncan that she was bisexual, but production told her that this “wasn’t interesting enough” and she “needed something juicier.”
The controversial bride also revealed her ex-hubby’s unaired confession.
“Duncan confessed that he’d broken up with every single one of his partners…not because they did anything wrong but because his expectations were too high,” she dished.
Well, now it makes sense why she acted the way she did on the show!
Alyssa reveals some ‘jaw-dropping’ tea about Duncan James and Evelyn Ellis during the Couple Swap challenge
We all know that Duncan’s dating his co-star Evelyn Ellis now. However, Alyssa thinks sparks were flying between the two during the Couple Swap challenge.
The former executive assistant shared a “jaw-dropping” conversation with Duncan that wasn’t aired, along with an “inkling” of why it never made it to our screens.
“Production asked [Duncan and I] to have a conversation about the sleeping arrangements,” she recalled.
Apparently, Duncan wanted to “share the bed” with the MAXIM covergirl, but Alyssa wasn’t having it, telling him to “sleep on the couch.”
Duncan then proceeded to throw a tanty that Alyssa’s child wouldn’t dare to throw, stating that the couch was “uncomfortable” and Evelyn was “just his mate”. Therefore, they’d be sharing the bed. Yikes! Kinda suss given they’re now dating, right?!
Alyssa also shared her thoughts on Duncan and Evelyn’s relationship.
“I think they really suit each other, but I can’t say I’m surprised,” she confessed.
“I was hurt that I didn’t hear from either of them about the relationship, but it is what it is.” Ouch!
