The Block Australia 2022’s Sarah-Jane Wilson and Tom Calleja have one non-negotiable condition for returning to the next All-Stars season.
The controversial couple previously slammed the show’s celebrity spin-off for not giving “real Australians” the chance to win, but they’ve confirmed to Now to Love that they’ve had a change of heart.
Sarah-Jane reckoned they would only return to The Block if they were guaranteed to earn big bucks after being forced to sell their car to re-coup their finances after the show.
“If we wanted to do an All-Stars, we’d be going back purely to try and make money,” Sarah-Jane said
She added they would still be hesitant after copping a major loss in 2022 (despite being the predicted front-runner).
Tom agreed, adding: “It’s not as simple as just saying ‘yes’ and going on the show. We put our lives on hold for almost nine months.
“It is a huge commitment for us and all our families as well, who help look after [one-year-old] Cleo.”

Tom also shared his suspicions that Omar Slaimankhel and Oz Malik used their connections with millionaire philanthropist Adrian Portelli to boost their chance at winning.
ICYMI – Adrian was accused of “dummy bidding” to drive up House Five’s auction price.
His contribution allegedly aided the Sydney mates in winning a record-breaking $1,686,666.66 in total (while their co-stars made very little — if anything at all).
“It’s a game at the end of the day. I don’t think it’s rigged,” Tom said before claiming that “everything was stacked up against” him and Sarah-Jane on auction day.
He added: “If I was friends with someone with a lot of money, then why not get them involved? We just don’t have those connections.” Yikes!
