Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Alyssa Barmonde has released her “I have a child” merch and fair play to her!
On April 24, the mother-of-one launched an online store called Alyssa Bakes Cakes and there were lots of goodies on offer.
The 35-year-old was selling an assortment of bumper stickers, t-shirts, crew necks, hoodies, water bottles and mugs with her iconic one-liners “I have a child” and “I need attention” printed across them.
The most expensive item for sale was the jumpers, which were going for $79.99.
Crew necks were $59.99 and T-shirts were $29.99, whilst the bumper stickers were a modest $15.
It looks like the store has already been a huge hit, as currently, everything appears to be sold out! Well, either that or the website is only available on Wednesdays and every other weekend…
Alyssa Barmonde is ‘coincidentally’ fired from her job following her bad edit on MAFS
This comes after Alyssa was fired from the job she’d held for the past seven years.
On April 17, Alyssa told The Daily Telegraph that she didn’t believe being made redundant just two weeks after the Finale had aired was any coincidence.
Alyssa copped a bad edit during her season of MAFS for mistreating her on-screen husband Duncan James and for using her child as an excuse for her behaviour.
Fans even called to have the bride removed from the show, saying she was worse than mega villain Harrison Boon.
However, Alyssa claimed that she was unfairly portrayed on the show, stating that the 36-year-old also played a role in the demise of their relationship.
She also confessed that she went through a “really dark couple of months” when the show was airing, admitting that she couldn’t even watch the whole season once she saw where her edit was heading.
We wish Alyssa the best of luck with her new store and who knows? We may see Duncan walking around in an “I have a child” T-shirt sometime soon!
