Married at First Sight 2023’s Shannon Adams‘ brutal comments towards Caitlin McConville apparently weren’t a cruel singular occurrence, as he’s been exposed as a “narcissist” who repeatedly “cheated” on his ex-fiancée Jamea Drake.
During the February 19 Commitment Ceremony, the 30-year-old UberEats driver got his just desserts after the MAFS experts and his TV wife called him out on his “emotionally abusive” BS before he was forced to leave the show for good.
As reported in episode 258 of the So Dramatic podcast, a source close to Shannon revealed they weren’t surprised by his f*cked antics on MAFS. Why? He’s allegedly done all that and worse before to his daughter’s mum.
“He’s a narcissist. He cheated on Jamea all the time when they were together before the show,” the insider alleged.
They continued: “How he treats Caitlin on the show is exactly how he speaks to Jamea. He’s always treated her like sh*t. He used to cheat on her at the gym.”
ICYMI – He blamed Caitlin for not “blowing [him away]” when she walked down the aisle before claiming she was the reason he wanted to stray back to his ex.
But, apparently, Jamea wasn’t “good-looking” enough for him not to cheat, either. Absolute clownery!

The source claimed the former child actor had been “depressed” since his Married at First Sight stint was aired.
They added that his “narcissistic” behaviour made it difficult for him to “keep a job and he doesn’t have many friends”.
While we don’t wish poor mental health on anybody, it’s certainly difficult to remain sympathetic when he’s reportedly inflicted emotional trauma on multiple partners.
It comes after So Dramatic! revealed that Shannon had spent months in therapy working on himself since John Aiken allowed Caitlin to leave.
