Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Shannon Adams is reportedly in therapy following concerning behaviour during his stint on the popular TV show.
ICYMI: The 30-year-old groom has been displaying some seriously gross behaviour toward his TV wife Caitlin McConville. He moved her even further down the ranking challenge from second place, told her she needed to “level up” and that she wasn’t as hot as the other brides because he’d seen her without makeup on.
If that wasn’t concerning enough, he topped it all off by confessing that he was still in love with his ex-fiancee and had slept with her just one week before entering the experiment. Big yikes!
Now, as revealed in episode 256 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the father-of-one has been “working on himself” since filming.
“He realised how badly he behaved on the show and got professional help,” an insider dished.
“He’s actually done three months of solid therapy, he’s been working on himself ever since.”
We love to see it! And it looks like it’s worked wonders for him because the insider went on to say that at the Reunion a few months later, he seemed like “a different person.”
“He’s actually come really far,” they added.
At least one man from this show is in therapy. Let’s hope the rest follow suit!
