Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Jayden Eynaud and Eden Harper had a LOT of relationship drama behind closed doors. And as always, we have the reciepts!
During the March 17 episode, the star couple shared a tense moment at the Commitment Ceremony, with Jayden throwing Eden under the bus by spilling yet another secret she’d told him in confidence — that Sara Mesa and her ex had made fun of Tim Calwell.
And as revealed in episode 364 of the So Dramatic! podcast, what we saw on the couch was tame compared to the sh*t that went down IRL!

“Producers toned it down massively,” one contestant told So Dramatic!
“They didn’t want to tarnish Jayden and Eden’s love story too much as they were one of the only couples left with a genuine love story. So they didn’t show it as bad as it actually was.” Yikes…
What actually went down during Married at First Sight’s Jayden and Eden’s couch session?
According to our source, Eden went into full damage control mode and didn’t want to discuss the issues she was having “behind closed doors” because she was “worried about her image”.
“Eden also said Jayden wouldn’t pay attention to her when he got home from training. She would try to give him a hug or have a convo, and he wouldn’t acknowledge her,” the source added.
“That was a big issue for them, but they cut it out and made it sound like all of their issues were because Eden had bad anxiety about sharing Sara’s secrets when their issues weren’t just about that.
“They had other problems of their own.”
The source also spilled that Jayden had a problem with Eden’s resistance to speaking about their problems on the couch. But this was also left on the cutting room floor.

ICYMI: Sara met up with her ex-boyfriend during the experiment and texted Eden beforehand, asking to borrow an outfit so she could “look hot” for the occasion.
Eden later told Sara that Jayden had seen the texts and that they’d tell Tim Calwell about them if Sara didn’t.
However, during a radio appearance on March 7, Eden admitted that Jayden NEVER actually saw Sara’s messages on her phone and that she told him about the cheating scandal when it happened.
And apparently, during the March 17 Commitment Ceremony, Jayden admitted this to everyone. But we never got to see it play out.
“They completely franken-bit Eden and Jayden’s couch session, and instead of Jayden admitting to everyone he didn’t see the text messages, they used something completely different,” our source dished.
“That Sara had talked sh*t about Tim to her ex, but Eden wouldn’t have even been able to know that.”
They added: “Sara did message Eden at the start of the experiment and said she wasn’t sure she was into Tim and expressed her concerns that he wasn’t confident or dominant enough. That was all it was.
“They never addressed the fact that Eden told Jayden to lie about being the one to see the text messages.” Messy!

Another contestant told So Dramatic! that Eden lied about Jayden seeing her messages because she was scared of Sara.
They explained, “Eden wanted protection because she found Sara intimidating. She was worried Sara would twist the story if she didn’t have backup.
“Eden didn’t pull Sara aside in private because she thought she would lie, so she wanted to put her on the spot so she couldn’t wriggle out of it.
“She lied even with Eden sitting there, so it wasn’t unjustified.” Interesting…

According to our source, Eden “only exposed a small amount of things that Sara did during filming.” And we want ALL the tea!
“Eden didn’t want to bring anything else up because she was over all the drama,” the insider told So Dramatic!.
“Eden’s not a confrontational person. She has extreme anxiety. Jayden loves drama, so he was keen to bring it up, but Eden wasn’t coping with it all, so she begged him not to.”
They continued: “The producers regularly pulled out Lauren [Dunn], Timothy [Smith], Jayden and Sara to encourage drama but never Eden. She’s not that type of person.”
And it sounds like she applied for the wrong show…
