Despite reports that the show would be “moving away” from “screeching and shouting”, this season will feature all the drama we know and love, from cheating scandals to mass walk-outs.

Not only that, but the cast were on their worst behaviour, with many of them copping a few harsh words from producers during filming.

If you’re just as thirsty for drama as we are, keep scrolling to see what the unruly brides and grooms get up to on MAFS 2024!

A cheating scandal will rock Married at First Sight 2024

The new season of MAFS will feature a huge cheating scandal.

One groom will find out that his wife was sneaking around behind his back and it’s giving us flashbacks of Adam Seed and Claire Nomarhas!

And the shady antics don’t stop there!

It’s also been reported that Jack Dunkley dumped his IRL girlfriend to go on the show. And sh*t hits the roof when his on-screen wife Tori Adams finds out! Yikes.

Inside the MAFS 2024 ‘revenge porn’ scandal

MAFS 2024 was also rocked by a gut-wrenching “revenge porn” scandal.

One groom gets outed by one of his co-stars at a Dinner Party for sharing racy pics of his ex at the gym.

It’s yet to be confirmed whether this storyline makes the final cut.

Nonetheless, expert John Aiken slammed this yet-to-be-named groom. And that’s something we’d love to see!

Multiple cast mates QUIT mid-season

Several cast mates also QUIT the show halfway through filming.

Leaked footage obtained by Yahoo! Lifestyle showed Tim Smith storming out of his apartment after filming a scene with his on-screen wife.

Groom Simon Flocco, who was part of the show’s first same-sex couple since 2020, also quit the series, confessing that “MAFS wasn’t what [he] thought [he] wanted at this point in [his] life.”

An insider also revealed that a mystery bride “ditched her vows”.

“She was having none of it and I think she was regretting ever signing up for the show,” they dished.

There will be LOTS of drama

It’s been reported that brides Eden Harper, Sara Mesa, Lauren Dunn and Tori will be at the centre of all the drama.

In fact, the insider spilled that Sara and Lauren were “praised by producers for making the show” as they weren’t “afraid of confrontation”.

Not only that, but the Dinner Parties will reportedly be “the most explosive viewers have seen in years”. And we can’t wait!

MAFS 2024 has a new filming location

Channel Nine has ditched the iconic apartments in Sydney’s CBD and relocated this year’s newlyweds to Skye Suites in Green Square, just 10 minutes from Sydney’s city centre.

According to an insider, the hotels were switched up in a bid to prevent the reality stars from going rogue.

“Last year was just a mess,” they said. “Some cast members slipped out the fire escape and didn’t return until the birds chirped at sunrise and they wanted to put a stop to that.”

It’s also been said that the newlyweds will head to Byron Bay for a three-day getaway. And what could possibly go wrong?
