Married at First Sight Australia 2020’s Bryce Ruthven has announced he’s returning to radio after a two-year hiatus.
On June 13, the reality star took to Instagram to announce that he’s becoming a presenter at Disrupt Radio (??).
“People have said I have a face for radio, so why not get back into it. Excited to share I’ve joined Disrupt Radio,” the 33-year-old wrote.
“Can’t wait to get back in the studio and start ‘disrupting’ in the near future across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and online across the world!”
Fellow reality stars flooded the comments section to congratulate Bryce on his new gig.
“This is dope!!” former MAFS intruder Daniel Holmes wrote.
Whilst The Bachelors‘ Felix Van Hofe penned: “Great work, mate.”
The Bachelorette‘s Jamie Doran also sent his love, commenting: “ABOUT TIME” alongside a string of clapping emojis.
Bryce Ruthven was FIRED from radio after his antics on Married at First Sight
Bryce’s break from the airwaves wasn’t exactly intentional.
Before his stint on MAFS, the TV personality worked in radio in Canberra under the Australian Radio Network (ARN).
However, he found himself in strife when he got FIRED before his season of MAFS aired due to complaints of bullying. Yikes.
Sh*t continued to hit the fan last year, as in episode 191 of the So Dramatic! podcast, it was revealed that he’d been dumped from TWO jobs before officially starting in the roles. That’s gotta hurt.
We’re happy Bryce can finally keep doing what he loves and we commend him on his determination to get back on air, but we think we’ll pass…
